Although it does smell somewhat like coconuts, it also smells like a combination of plastic and vomit: very artificial & strange. It’s disappointing since Pacifica products usually smell great. I will have to donate it or throw it out because I can’t stand the smell.

Q: I'm looking for an alternative to the now-discontined Pacifica Coconut Milk, Cream To Foam Face Wash... is this similar in ingredients, specifically is this from a cream to a foam?

A: Hi! The Sea Foam Face Wash does differ from the Coconut Milk Cream to Foam Face Wash. It is a gel consistency but does get foamy. Check out our Vegan Creamy Gel Cleanser also available at Target! It has a creamier texture and lathers well. -the Pacifica Beauty Team

Q: I wanted to try this but it has coconut oil, a product very high on the comodogene list causing breakouts. Have many of you had this happen with this product?

Comes out a gel, works into a light foam. Not super foamy. Despite its qualities, it still dried out my skin. Need to put on extra face moisturizer to compensate. If you accidentally get it in your eyes while trying to remove eye make up, it really burns. Most likely will not but again.

I love the smell of this! It does a great job of cleaning my face if no makeup. However, after a long day of makeup/sunscreen and my usual oily skin, it is not enough. But that isn’t unusual for me. I don’t wear much makeup, but mascara never comes off with just face wash and I have incredibly oily skin.

I would probably give this product a better review if I could get past the smell & use it regularly. It’s especially disappointing since Pacifica products usually smell great. It smells like a combination of fake coconut, plastic & vomit. To be fair, by the time it lathers, the smell dissipates, but I can’t stand it, so I will have to donate it or throw it out.

This is my all time favorite face wash! After trying face wash after face wash I finally found one that works great on my sensitive dry skin. I have been using this one for probably 5 years or so. It works well enough to take off makeup including mascara. The smell is also nice and not too strong.

I didn’t know what to expect when buying but it was actually so hydrating and cooling other cleansers that I use usually dry out my skin after cleansing. In addition it lathers pretty well giving it good texture on my face. I’m getting a coconut vanilla scent from it. I’m definitely going to try glow baby after this as well.
