Wasnt sealed correctly at the store causing it to spoil sooner

I had concern about the bread when I first purchased it because it was sealed very loosely. But at the time I honestly did not think much about it. I let all of the air out & sealed it myself. I didn’t get to eat any of the bread. It says Best used by March 16. Today is March 15 and it is already molded.
