  • A: Correct, the reason that we use palm oil is because it is a Non-GMO, non-hydrogenated oil that acts as a stabilizer and reduces oil separation. This means less stirring for you every time you dip into a jar! The palm oil used in our nut butters is certified sustainable under a mixed supply chain model. We are also proud members of the the RSPO (Roundtable on Sustainable Palm), which encourages sustainable growing practices and human rights initiatives at the farm level, while promoting education about the cultivation and use of certified sustainable palm oil. RSPO is the leading organization to date for sustainably sourced palm oil.

    Would not buy this again since the change in formulation

    Used to love the pouches! Perfect for breakfast or travel. Change in formulation has changed the consistency and it's not good. No more for me. :(

    No way I am eating this with the new formulation that includes palm oil. I'm out. And your website still says just two ingediants. What a dissapointment. Our family has purchased an outrageous amount of Justin's almond butter over the years. It's sad to move on but we must.

    Don't like change in formula

    I used to love this product. One pick each morning with my GF toast. My go to. Just received new box of pouches in March 2026 and the consistency is completely off. It's yucky. Unlikely to purchase again and now to start looking for another straight-up almond butter.

    Very Uneven Product

    this has nothing to do with Target. it has to do with Justin's. the product is really uneven. sometimes it's great other times it's dry and horrible. no way to tell what you will get. also, it would be nice to have a longer expire date. a month out doesn't help the situation. product is clearly not moving on the shelves.

    I am very happy with my peanut butter.

    I received this peanut butter from my writing teacher. I LOVE THIS STUFF! I havent even tried it yet, but my brain is telling me that it is going to be good. I recommend to you.

    Love this product, hate the palm oil.

    I was introduced to almond butter with this brand. I love the taste of it, and I would not switch if it were not for the palm oil. I am at a point in my life where I need to do more clean, eating due to physical issues. And palm oil is just too inflammatory. If you could change out the palm oil, I would still continue to buy this product.

    I think it is a great alternative to peanut butter. I like the different flavors and the fact it comes in a quick pouch to eat on the go. It does have a gritty taste. But honestly the only reason I will not buy this product again is the added palm oil which makes this very unhealthy. I hope in the future it could be made without it.

    New Packaging Leaks

    I've always loved Justin's Classic Almond Butter packets as a convenient and healthy on-the-go snack. However, the new packaging has been disappointing. I've been unexpectedly covered in almond butter more than once while kneading the packet—what I initially hoped was just a fluke. Unfortunately, when I went to purchase more today, I noticed several packets on the shelf were already leaking and messy. I'm really disappointed, as this used to be a favorite, but I won't be purchasing it again unless the packaging improves.

    The only one I buy now.

    I was looking for something for my English muffins. I bought the Almond butter with Cinnamon. OMG! Has to be the best butter I've had. I have tried other companies Cashews butter, Almond butter. Not anymore! Only thing in my cabinet now is Justin's.
