  • A: Yes! Twin Cities can absolutely be used for espresso. It’s a darker roast with a fuller body, so it’ll give you a richer, more classic espresso profile. If you prefer something a little sweeter and more balanced, Black Squirrel is our espresso-focused blend, but Twin Cities is a great option too.

Q: Do you test your coffee for mycotoxins?

  • A: Hi Molly, We don’t specifically test for mycotoxins, but we do test our coffee for water activity three times: at export, import, and again at our facility in Minnesota. If the coffee showed unsafe water activity levels that could lead to mold growth, it would be rejected. Let us know if you have any other questions. We’re always happy to help!
