Q: Can anybody confirm this can stick in stable form to a flat surface of a typical car's dashboard? It doesn't seem like it could despite what it claims in its description.

A: Unless you purchase a plastic disc mount for your dash, it will only hold for so long especially with phones that are larger in size and have metal casing like newer iphones.
