My kid absolutely loves this set. Aside from ruining some of the loose papers by accidentally getting them wet, everything has held up extremely well to frequent play. She loves playing school with her cousins or all on her own, and this set is perfect for that. The set is a good value considering all the items included with the backpack.

This was my first time buying from Our Generation, and I've got to say, I was very impressed. There are so many detailed items, many of them have moving parts, and all of them have play value (and are useful for scene setting for adult doll photographers). I also love how the colours aren't just shades of pink and purple, but a realistic variety. My only real complaints with this set are: -As other reviewers have pointed out, a folder for the papers would be nice -The paintbox doesn't have a latch, and there's no room for the paintbrush inside it (if this were an actual watercolour set, there'd be paint all over the inside of the backpack) -The school ID had tape holding it in the packaging, and it took a ridiculously long amount of time to get the sticky residue off Other than those small issues, this is a great set, very affordable for the quality and amount of items you get.

There are a lot of detailed pieces in this, and it's overall a very cute set. I would say better for kids who are reading age because of the details on the papers. I know this is nitpicky, but there's no folder in this. There is a stack of papers and you're just supposed to stuff them in the backpack. Everything is well made though and to scale, except for the eraser which would be giant if it were full size. The backpack is nice quality... I think a pencil case would be a nice touch, but for a scholarly child they will probably appreciate the realistic looking papers. Would repurchase, but for a little bit older child.
