I actually really like this oil it does leave my scalp oiled for about 3/4 days it’s very light weight an it smells really well it is a little expensive but it also grew my edges back from having a baby an going through postpartum I would recommend this oil every time my only regret is that when I saw my mom using it years ago I wish I had started using it sooner it keeps my scalp hydrated an moisturized it leaves my part an my scalp looking squeaky clean an my roots actually look healthy for a change

This product came in clutch. My hair was thinning and growth was stunted, most likely from braids and lack of proper maintenance for my particular hair texture/type. Along with a few changes, this oil really helped my hair and it’s finally back full and growing. Very little breakage and maximum length retention. I do not over use the product on my scalp because it is strong in my opinion but, I do apply to my ends more frequently. Only experience normal hair fall.

I use this to help with bringing my edges back. I use a small amount everyday for a few weeks and I am seeing some results. It is not heavy on my scalp and smells good too. I also use this on my 6 year daughters scalp and she has 4c hair.

Like many others, I loved the original product. It doesn’t do much for hair loss on its own (use rosemary or minoxidil for that) but it did help strengthen the new hair and seemed to encourage faster growth. The new version does not seem to have this effect anymore. Could still be good as a general oil treatment but it’s nothing special now.

If I could give this product zero stars I would. please listen to the comments. It will cause you hair loss and thin you hair and edges . This and the Mielle oil will make u lose hair . Never again . Smh.

My PP hair loss had finally stopped after like 6 months of dealing with it so I decided to try and use this oil to bring my hair life back. My hair is falling out AGAIN!! And in chunks. I am so disappointed and sad that this is happening. And it doesn’t even smell good either. Do not buy.

If you have sensitive skin or a sensitive scalp in particular, you might not want to try this oil. The itch was unbearable and I it took serveral washes for me to have scalp return to normal. It wasn't for me .

The label information on the website shows their old formula; I did a Target drive up to find that the ingredients have changed. I wish they hadn't added fragrance because the oils listed would have been nice and pleasant on their own. The smell was strange, and I love oil scents from tea tree to olive oil, so I enjoy natural scents, but it seemed off to use it especially before bedtime as the directions suggested. The transition from alma oil to extract was also disappointing because I read that extracts are not as concentrated as oils.. If its not broken, why fix it?

They changed the formula! This no longer has the “amla oil” they advertise as the main ingredient 😭 the old formula smelled divine and this new one smells gross. Amla extract is NOT like amla oil
