Great question! We do not recommend using La Roche Posay Toleriane Hydrating Facial Cleanser around the eye area, including the upper and lower eyelids and eyelashes. We recommend you try our Toleriane Micellar Water. This micellar water is a no-rinse cleanser that cleanses down to microscopic pollution particles. Dirt-encapsulating micelles in the formula attract dirt, oil, and makeup, making it easy to gently wipe them away. This product is suitable for use on the face eyes and lips. An excellent gentle cleanser
This is an excellent gentle cleanser. I use it in the morning. It does not strip my face and make it feel tight. I also use it as a post-procedure cleanser and my sensitivity during that period is not triggered. Overall, I highly recommend this cleanser for sensitive skin types.

Excellent cleanser
As I have gotten older post menopause my skin is much drier including my scalp. This might sound strange but not only do I use it for a body cleanser but also on my scalp, and it has helped my dry scalp, an excellent cleanser with no irritation and help with keeping moisture in my skin, thank you

Immediate Burning Reaction From a “Sensitive Skin”
How can this possibly be marketed as a cleanser for dry, sensitive skin? It burned on first contact, and the burning persisted for a long time even after an extended rinse under the shower. My skin is not barrier‑compromised, and none of the other three foaming cleansers I use — including Toleriane Purifying Foaming Face Wash — have ever caused this kind of reaction. So what exactly is wrong with this formula? I am genuinely stunned.

Very Effective!
My face was extremely dry and itchy, and I had already tried several products with no luck. That’s when I decided to give this one a try. I honestly wasn’t expecting much, but after using it, the dryness disappeared so quickly. My skin felt hydrated, smooth, and comfortable again. Best for Sensitive Skin!
I have been using this product for years! I have very sensitive skin and this has never caused any kind of irritation. I was always hesitant on using a new product on my face, but once I started using the La Roche-Posay gentle facial cleanser I did not go back to anything else. It has truly changed the texture of my skin, it feels super hydrated and always extra clean after I’m done. I use this every day. I use it in the morning and at night, and I use it after my makeup removal routine to give me that extra clean feel. It is not a foaming cleanser, the consistency is more gel like, but it’s not sticky. I love the bottle it is very sleek, and the dispenser works great. Personally, I recommend this to everyone, but especially if you have sensitive skin, this is definitely a must have.

Notice A Difference In My Skin
I like this cleanser a lot. I saw someone on TikTok recommend it and thought I would give it a try. I have been using CereVe for a long time and noticed my skin looked a bit dry. After trying this product for a week I definitely notice more hydration. My skin texture also seems even and less rough in spots around my nose. This product is more expensive than some other drug store brands, but I do feel like it is a good value per ounce. I would recommend giving this product a try if you aren’t happy with your current cleanser.

Perfect hydrating cleanser for normal to dry sensitive skin
This is a splurge I am happy to pay for. Having a good cleaner is the first step in your skincare routine to maintaining good skin. I have been a chronic skincare brand changer all my life, until finding La Roche-Posay. This cleanser, along with their vitamin C serum and spf moisturizer are the perfect trio to keeping my skin healthy and youthful. Pro tip: wet your face and hands first. Then apply a ½ pump of the cleaner into the palm of your wet hands and lather into a rich lather. Less is more! It rinses off clean and easy, and ready for the remaining steps of your skin care routine! Pores feel tighter and the absorption of the moisturizing properties feels amazing. I’ve also started using the purifying foaming version of this cleanser, and will do a review on that one as well. Overall, an easy 10/10.

This is a great cleanser if you aren’t wearing mascara, or makeup that’s super heavy! Otherwise I have to use a second cleanser to remove the rest of my makeup. For that reason I probably won’t repurchase.
