For Sunscreen Use: Apply generously 15 minutes before sun exposure. Reapply at least every 2 hours. Use a water resistant sunscreen if swimming or sweating. Sun Protection Measures. Spending time in the sun increases your risk of skin cancer and early skin aging. To decrease this risk, regularly use a sunscreen with a Broad Spectrum SPF value of 15 or higher and other sun protection measures including: Limit time in the sun, especially from 10 a.m. - 2 p.m. Wear long-sleeved shirts, pants, hats and sunglasses. Directions: Apply in the morning to the face and neck. Its soft, oil-free refreshing texture is easily absorbed. For prebiotic benefits, use Toleriane Double Repair Face Moisturizer at night.

Q: Is this a moisturizer or a sunscreen? I just received mine and it seems that active ingredients and scent makes this seem more of a sunscreen. Any other LRP product that is a good moisturizer?

  • A: This is a moisturizer with SPF protection, but I wouldn't compare this to a waterproof sports sunscreen, it's more an everyday moisturizer. Ceramides and Niacinamide are both good for repairing skin. I would especially recommend this product as a daily moisturizer if you're using active ingredients that make your skin more sensitive to sunlight, like Vitamin C or Retinol.

    Not impressed with formula

    I am not too impressed with this formula, even though it does contain some good ingredients like niacinamide, and ceramides. I did not find it moisturizing or soothing in any way. If you’re looking for moisture in a sunscreen, I have other brands that I would recommend for you.

    I wished I liked it

    This one is a hard one for me, I love La Roche-Posay and I wanted to love this one, my skin is oily/dry and I loved the texture of this, my problem was it felt so heavy on my skin, it was clogging my pores even though it’s non-comedogenic, and I would shine all day, and on my dry spots it looked like it wasn’t absorbing, I tried it by itself because it claims it’s a like 2 in one type os sunscreen and then I tried it with different moisturizers, just not for me, but when I was working in a retail store a lot of people loved it soo if your interested for sure try it out

    Good moisturizer for hot days!

    I use this cream without the SPF daily so this one with SPF is amazing any time I go into the sun for protection. It’s thicker, not highly scented but slightly sunscreen-y. I found that it helps with my fiancés dry skin as well!

    Deep hydration, fast absorption, and sun protection all in one single product

    This cream is excellent for keeping my skin hydrated all day long. The application is smooth and it absorbs quickly without leaving a greasy felling. I love that it has SPF to protect my skin daily. It does no have a strong scent, which is ideal for me I totally recommend it for daily use.

    Two Thumbs Down!

    I never write reviews, but this product is heavy, seeps into my eyes throughout the day, kinda too thick/smells like sunscreen, and has been causing breakouts!! Been using it about 6 weeks and now realizing this has been the culprit. Previously used the La Roche Posay Anthelios 70spf moisturizer which was amazing- no smell, no cast, no breakouts, light but very moisturizer and great spf protection- but Target stopped carrying for some reason. Used lots of La Roche spf/moisturizers in the past and always been highly impressed. Very disappointed with this one. Sad day!!

    Covers broad spectrum UVB/ UVA rays. Great product.

    Feels very smooth. I love the texture. Great product. Gives broad spectrum coverage against all UVA and UVB rays. Remember UVA are the aging rays that don't cause the skin to burn but penetrate deeper and are always penetrating the skin, even on cloudy days. UVB rays are the kind that cause burning of the skin although they don't penetrate as deeply as UVA rays.

    Dry spots are gone!

    I like this product. At first I thought I would not like the way it would apply on my face as it seemed thick and I thought it would pull on my skin but it does not. It goes on smoothly and a little goes a long way. My face feels much more hydrated and my dry spots are gone!
