A: Hello Cathy, You do not need to print it out, you can simply transfer the plan to the gift recipient by following the steps below. Remember, we’ll need a copy of the receipt for your item on file before you can transfer your plan. 1. Go to www.squaretrade.com and click My Plans at the top of the page. 2. If you already have an online account, just log in. To create a new account, enter the email address you used when you purchased your protection plan, click Set Up, and follow the instructions. 3. Once logged into your account, click on the plan you want to transfer. 4. Click Transfer Plan in the Quick Links box to the right and let us know who you want to transfer your plan to. Once you’re done, we’ll send a confirmation both to you and the plan’s new owner. If this is for a gift, we suggest waiting to transfer the plan until after you’ve given the gift.
