Overly roasted
Too oily and over roasted . This coffee hardly let's you taste dark chocolate notes

An excellent bean roasted to perfection!
I truly enjoy opening a fresh bag of Peet's coffee beans and experiencing its aroma. I hope the quality of your coffee remains unchanged following the acquisition by Keurig Dr. Pepper, soon to be renamed Global Coffee Co. Often, when a successful family-owned business is acquired by a larger corporation, product quality declines to reduce costs. French Roast and Organic French Roast are our darkest roasts, which also makes them the most oily. These varieties are not recommended for machines that are sensitive to higher oil levels. Please reach out to our customer service team for recommendations.

Great coffee!
Best coffee on the market. The website is dumb tho, it never remembers the changes they’ve suggested for my address because of “their” rules, very annoying! Also, they take WAAAAY TOO LONG to ship the coffee on a slow boat from, well, the slowest boat possible.

Didn't like this Coffee
Both my wife and I thought this coffee tasted terrible. This is unusual, since we tend to really like coffee from Peets. Coffee preference is of course a matter of personal taste, but I would definitely not recommend this one.
