Very oily. If your machine has a grinder built in, I would not let your machine grind these beans. I had to throw them away as I couldn't grind them.

A nice option to have, but I've found it to be a bit strong on it's own. However, I HIGHLY recommend adding a quarter of it to Arabian Mocha Java as the combo adds an incredible depth.

Having a little trouble getting the brew time of 40 seconds (currents getting around 21 seconds). I'm using a 58 mm basket with 18 grams in and 36 grams out I am using a niche zero grinder set to just.. under zero and a tamping pressure of 55 pounds. However the taste is exceptional I could just go with what works

I've enjoyed this brew for 10 years. Contracting at a software startup back then meant budget was always okay. On my first day as a contractor I went in to make a cup of coffee and saw they had Peet's Italian blend. I already had been a Peets Major D fan for some time and was delighted to have a nice strong shot of Italian espresso. Ever since then I have ordered Peets Italian as a press pot grind and love it on the weekends. Thank you for this delicious blend.

I have tried many different kinds of coffee and have found the Italian roast the best. Love the taste and smell. Espresso is the way to go when making coffee.
