Peet's Café Domingo Medium Roast Ground Coffee - 10.5oz

I first tried this coffee at work. I am not a big coffee drinker, but I like it every so often. I tasted this coffee and I have been drinking it almost every day. This is an excellent coffee.

Peet's has always been my favorite major coffee brand. I used to buy dark roasts, but the oils caused problems with my DeLonghi automatic espresso machines, so I switched to the medium roasts. The Cafe Domingo is the one I like best, and my espresso machines like it too. It has most of the flavor of Major Dickinson but smoother.

My husband and ai love the flavor of this coffee however we both get serious heartburn from it (and we do not usually get heartburn from coffee). I hope Peet’s reads this review and communicates with the roasters. I hope there is a way to important because we’re sad to have to stop drinking it/ordering it!

Hands down one of their greats. Of course every opinion of coffee is subjective to what we like, so here’s what I like: Both, hot and iced coffee with a preference of primarily iced. How I brew it hot: Grind my beans, and use a French press or my Ninja coffee machine. How I brew it cold: Flash brew(brew it hot to extract the max flavor in the beans, fill a cup completely full of ice, immediately pour over, and stir). Now for this coffee, Café Domingo: It’s the perfect coffee between a medium and bold-bodied coffee. Many times, bold-bodied coffees can upset my stomach because many times the acidity is too much. However, this medium-roast, broad-bodied coffee gives a bold taste without the acidity. It’s THE morning “Joe” without being either of those two classic brands(you know which ones I’m talking about). Easily distinguishing the nutty notes, they’re not a strong on the tongue palette as they are in the aroma— until you mix your extra sweeteners in. As black coffee, hot or iced, it’s VERY enjoyable. When adding creamer, syrup, or just milk, the nutty taste is more prominent, but not nearly enough to distract from your additives. Oftentimes, I enjoy it and for this reason I give it 5 out of 5. This is the coffee for the coffee lover that that loves a classic.

I'm trying to find THE coffee that hits the mark for me. I like the Big Bang but it's not quite strong enough. Major Dickinson's Blend is a bit too oily. Cafe Domingo is alright but not strong enough.

This is one of my favorite Peet’s coffees…always rich but not overpowering like some dark roasts are.

We first found Cafe Domingo at our local grocery store on sale about 6 years ago and decided to give it a try. It instantly became our new favorite. We quickly realized that it was more cost efficient to get a subscription, plus it’s roasted and ground fresh to order. Every once in a while we’ll try the other Peet’s blends, but we always come back to this one. Great balanced flavor!

This is my absolute favorite coffee. I prep it using pour over method and I make it very strong with some half and half and omg - heaven on earth!

I didn’t like the coffee. Harsh. I compare it to my regular drink of Starbucks Samatra.
