Q: Is the auto shut off 2 or 4 hours? I've seen both in the answers.
A: Mine shuts off after two hour despite being sold as shutting off after four hours. Looking to return.

Q: can I make only 1 cup coffee at a time never make more then 1 cup
A: Invest in a smaller coffee maker for 1 cup of coffee. There are all types: 4 cup drip, pour over (my favorite), french press and others. If you only need one cup of coffee, the smaller the better

Q: why does it say a "washable reusable" coffee filter in description but specs say "paper filter"? I just bought this and it has no gold filter?
A: Wait, what?? Your description literally says "Includes a dishwasher-safe, reusable coffee filter" and now you say it is purchased separately? Please update your incorrect description.

Q: I did the delay brew feature, however the time always has P.M. next to it. How do I know whether the machine knows I scheduled my brew for an A.M. time?

Q: Please provide cleaning instructions for my brew now or later 12 cup programmable model coffee maker
A: Hello, thank you for your inquiry. Here are the cleaning instructions for the Mr. Coffee® Programmable Coffee Maker, 12-Cup. Daily Cleaning (After Each Use) Turn off and unplug the coffee maker. Discard the used coffee grounds and filter from the brew basket. Wash the carafe, lid, and filter basket with warm, soapy water. Rinse thoroughly and allow to dry. Wipe the outside of the machine with a damp cloth. Do not immerse the coffee maker in water. Deep Cleaning (Monthly or Every 30 Brews) To remove mineral deposits and keep your coffee tasting fresh: What You Need: White vinegar Fresh water Steps: Fill the water reservoir with half vinegar and half water. Place an empty filter in the basket. Place the empty carafe on the warming plate. Start a brew cycle and let it run for about half the cycle. Turn off the coffee maker and let it sit for 30 minutes to allow the vinegar to break down mineral buildup. Turn the coffee maker back on and complete the brew cycle. Discard the vinegar solution and use a filter. Run 2–3 full cycles of clean water to rinse out any remaining vinegar.
