Do not buy!
The pot itself works fine. It is quite noisy when brewing and makes random air release noises. But my real issue with it is there are screws inside the area where the coffee grind basket sits and they are rusted. After only a short time using. I'm not sure why it was designed with screws there to begin with. It seems very unhealthy. I will now need to spend money to get a new coffee pot. Do not buy!

Only buy if you like drinking grinds
I know this is budget option but even a budget coffee machine should work properly, The water comes through so fast that the grinds spill over the sides of the filter and end up in the coffee pot. It looks very nice, is easy to use but fails miserably with the quality. I gave it one star for value as it’s not really worth the budget price for the inconvenience of straining the grinds before you can drink your coffee.

Instant Regret - should have spent the extra money for a better model
Positives: easy to use, cheap Negatives: the pot design is not compatible with other Mr. Coffee products and is not well thought out - it is not easy to pour without an absolute flood of coffee shooting out of it; it has nowhere for steam to escape and water often gets trapped in the top section and then pours out when you remove the pot; has a constant smell of burnt plastic when used which strongly affects the coffee made in it.
