    Instant Regret - should have spent the extra money for a better model

    Positives: easy to use, cheap Negatives: the pot design is not compatible with other Mr. Coffee products and is not well thought out - it is not easy to pour without an absolute flood of coffee shooting out of it; it has nowhere for steam to escape and water often gets trapped in the top section and then pours out when you remove the pot; has a constant smell of burnt plastic when used which strongly affects the coffee made in it.

    Stoped working ! one time I forgot to fill the water reservoir ONE TIME and now it won’t brew. Had less than 3 months. Brought it back. Got refund. Plus it only stays hot for 2 hours now instead of the older version of the 4 hours after brew time

    Nice coffee maker

    I just received this Mr Coffee. Target had an incredible sale I couldn’t pass up. I washed by hand the carafe and filter basket with soapy water and good rinse, and ran a cycle of just water for first time use. I read a review(s) that the coffee tasted like ‘plastic’. I did not find that. In fact, the coffee tasted amazing and it was nice and hot. I do agree the water level is difficult to read on the side of the coffee maker. No big deal. It matches the volume numbers on the carafe measurements. I read some reviews there are coffee grounds in the brewed coffee. I didn’t find that. A few said the coffee splattered out as it brewed. That didn’t happen for me. I just made sure the carafe is positioned into place correctly. Yes, as it brewed, the inside of the carafe had lots of condensation from the dripping coffee splashing back up against the inside of the carafe. Not a big deal. Bottom line, great sale price, great tasting coffee and it didn’t take an hour to brew like I read one review said. ( I did 7 cups and it took maybe 10 minutes or even less. I didn’t time it officially. So far I’m pleased, but hopefully it won’t stop working before the warranty ends like I am seeing a few experienced. If it does, I will update.

    Not grandparents coffee maker, No pot warmer on bottom, quick shutoff

    While it brews ok, this thing has a programming panel for keeping coffee hot hours right? NO, this coffee Maker fails to include a pot warmer on the bottom, So the 2 hour delay serves no function to keep it on but just to keep it on but no pot warmer on the bottom. I was left highly sad that the name that earned trust over the years has been hollowed out to save pennies manufacturing cost.
