Makes really great tasting coffee
Wow! What a great coffee maker. I like the ease of use and quick brewing. I used the aroma feature and my coffee tastes great. It is quiet while brewing and the pot handle grips perfectly. The stainless mesh filter removes the need for paper filters which is great for savings. It has a large capacity for a group or I can use the smaller amounts for just myself. It has the keep warm feature that doesn’t burn the coffee. I really love this coffee maker. It is also lightweight to move if space is needed after use.

Quiet and brews great coffee!!
I'm pleased with this coffee maker! It brews a good-tasting, smooth cup of coffee. It's a pretty basic machine that works well! It's much quieter than my last coffee maker. The control panel is easy to understand and use. It comes with a fine mesh metal filter, but it is cumbersome to clean up. I tried using a conical paper filter, which worked just as well and was easy to dispose of. The paper filter is my preference. The coffee maker seems well-made and it fits well on a counter. It has a simple Euro-style design. All in all this coffee maker gets high marks for looks and smooth basic coffee.

Filter free coffee maker
This new coffee make is lightweight but durable. It is very quiet and brews a great tasting cup of coffee. I love the fact that I don’t need a coffee filter and cleaning it is a breeze. Would definitely recommend this to anyone that’s currently looking to upgrade their coffee pot to a filter free life!

Wonderful coffee maker!
I really like this Bodum 12 Cup Programmable Coffee Maker! It was very easy to set everything up and super easy to use also. I like that it is programmable and that it brews and serves up to 12 cups of coffee! It also has a really neat AROMA Function that adjusts brewing strength for optimal flavor! It also is designed to keep coffee hot for up to two hours which is very handy. It has a high-quality stainless steel permanent, durable filter for long-lasting performance and pure flavor. The filter holder & filter are also dishwasher safe as well. Overall, I feel that this coffee maker is made well, easy to use and performs well. I highly recommend it!

Makes a great cup of coffee!
This coffee maker makes 12 cups of your favorite coffee. I love the stainless steel filter basket because it saves me from having to buy filters. Water distributes evenly over you coffee which creates a flavorful aromatic cup of coffee. By setting the timer, you can have your favorite cup of coffee waiting for you when you rise in the morning. Nice quality coffee maker at an affordable price.

Perfect Brew
I can Enjoy a cup of coffee anytime with this lightweight large capacity programmable, aroma function, keep warm, a feature which keeps brewed coffee piping hot for as long as the coffee maker is kept on. It quickly and evenly heats water, making the coffee taste fresh and rich. With its 51-ounce water tank, the coffee maker can brew up to 12 cups at once. This is great for get-togethers with family, friends, or people from a small office.

Constantly overflows grounds into reservoir
The grounds constantly flow back into the water reservoir. I’ve tried everything from changing the grounds, to swapping the permanent filter for a paper one, to using the “aroma” button. The only way the grounds don’t back into the reservoir (which is really, really, hard to clean out) is to brew less coffee. As for the coffee, it tastes burnt. Again, this is regardless of how it’s brewed. I bought this because I wanted something simple to brew my coffee in the morning. The experience has been anything but simple. Other things of note: it takes a long time to brew, the drip stop for mid-brew pouring still drips, I have yet to get a full brew from the water I put in, and there is no beep to indicate brewing has stopped. This is not a good coffee maker.

We’re sorry to hear that you’re not completely satisfied with your Programmable Coffee Maker. Please note that the maximum capacity for the permanent stainless steel filter is 70g, for brewing the full 12 cups of coffee; overfilling the filter, especially with finely ground coffee, can lead to overflow. We also do not recommend using a paper filter in addition to the stainless steel filter, as the double filter will drastically slow the flow of coffee, and will also lead to overflow. Additionally, note that the Aroma function is designed to increase the boldness of your coffee, so if it is too strong, we recommend brewing on the normal setting; you can also experiment with light roasted beans. It is important to know that with the stainless steel filter, coffee tends to be bolder than when brewing with paper filters, as paper filters leech out the essential coffee oils that add flavor and aroma. As for the drip stop, note that it is designed for the carafe only to be removed temporarily; make sure that the carafe isn’t removed for more than 30 seconds, as the longer the brewed coffee builds up, the more likely it is to leak. It is true that, like with most coffee machines, there will be some water loss due to steam and grounds saturation, and while there is no auditory indicator for when brewing is finished, the control panel will instead switch from the brewing symbol (three wavy lines) to “Keep Warm”.
