For the price, this is a really good coffee maker. I would have said great coffee maker, but after only about five weeks of use, the filter basket stopper valve fell apart. After the spring launched pieces across ht room, I was unable to find all of them even to see if they could be out back together.

It’s easy to load coffee and program the clock. The brewing process leaves a few grounds in the pot and releases enough steam that 12 cups of water brews down to 10 cups.

Pros, it was cheap, has auto shut off, and the coffee taste fine. Cons, the cup lines on the reservoir do not match up with the lines on the actual coffee pot. Come on Hamilton Beach! Spend a little more money and buy a Mr. Coffee.

I have had 2 of these coffee makers and they were actually the best one I’ve ever had and that includes both of them.However this one is not working properly.You can only put so much coffee and water in it because if you go over that certain amount it will continue to drip coffee all over.I really think I may have gotten a bad one because my other 2 that I purchased were really great!

I wanted a simple coffee maker that I can program. This was perfect. My only complaint is the water window. It starts at 4 cups so when I make less I have no clue how much water I am putting in. I will need to use a measuring cup so I don't add too much and make weak coffee. Other than that the it works just fine.
