This coffee maker is an absolute piece of junk. I'm a very low maintenance coffee maker kind of person, and my other one of a different brand finally stopped working one day so I switched brands to this one and it's terrible. The water gets stuck in the coffee grounds bin and overflows almost every time we make coffee. And no, it's not user error.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] What I like about this product that it’s programmable and it makes a decent cup of coffee whether it be regular or bold or 1-4 cups! I like having options. It wasn’t ready to program with the Instructions. I like that it keeps the pot of coffee warm so when you go to grab a cup it’s not needed to reheat. That’s a great convenience. The button for brew types is hard to press too! It takes several pushes to get to the desired brew.

This is perfect. It’s small, makes coffee, and has a timer to make it automatically each day at the time you’d like. It came wrapped in all new packaging and with bubble wrap to prevent breakage in shipping. This is perfect for someone who wants a simple coffee machine.

The programmable function and the brewing choice is easy to manage and perfect for a quick pot of coffee. I like that you can do ice coffee which came out perfect. Also a plus is the pause when you want to pour a cup before it finishes and the automatic shut off function.

Makes strong coffee, easy to clean and fill up. I haven't use the programmable functionality yet but looks easy enough to use based on the instructions provided. This is a mainstay in our countertop

The program tab only worked for a couple of days and after that, it failed-no light and I cannot program anymore . Quite disappointing to see such a very short lifespan for this machine. I was about to return but I accidentally cracked the glass pot when packing it to return so I can't even return it. I ordered a new coffee maker from another brand.

The easy programming allows me to set the maker the night before and be able to wake up to a fresh brewed cup of coffee. This is perfect while I am getting ready for work and to fill my to go cup for when I head out the door!

Worked for 1 year and 4 days. Not working now. Cheap but get what pay for.

I like that you set it at night so you can enjoy your coffee as soon as you awake in the morning. I do like the brew options...I like the regular taste , where as my husband likes likes a stronger flavor. Sometime I want a cup of coffee during the day, so I can make one cup when I like. It is easy to program and will shut itself off if I forget!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I haven't had a coffee maker for ages! I'm so glad I got this one, though, because it is EXACTLY what I needed!! For years, I've normally made my mother's coffee and chicory morning blend with instant crystals but this comes with two serious drawbacks. One is what to do when the rare, well-made instant coffee is unavailable, such as when it is out of stock or seems to be producing bad batches. I've had to change brands twice because of this. The other, lesser reason, is what to do when you want something nicer, such as for special occasions, holidays, and recipes that would benefit from traditionally prepared coffee. This coffee maker addresses -all- of these issues by bringing the option for drip brewed coffee back to my home! The first nice thing to notice about this coffee maker is the packing. I've enclosed pictures of how well it is packed right after removing the carafe to wash it. After unpacking, it's important to both wash all removable parts, after all! I also ran some hot water through both the coffee maker and the Hamilton Beach permanent basket filter that I got to go with it. Since this was going to be an occasional-use machine, a permanent filter that I store with the coffee maker would be so much more useful than paper filters that would age, absorb moisture and particles from the air, and generally go to waste since I'd only be using a few out of each package! Luckily, Hamilton Beach makes permanent filters for their very own machines, so I was able to find one easily! There is exactly one downside to this lovely coffee maker. It is SUPER shiny, which means it attracts water spots, dust, and fingerprints like crazy!! I have a feeling that most coffee makers will be like this, though, so just keep a soft cloth handy nearby if you like a spotless finish on your coffee maker! The coffee maker is simplicity itself to use, which is perfect for me because I don't need a lot of options. You choose from regular brewed coffee, bold, or 1-4 cups (for small batches). It has both a clock and can be set to brew on a delay. Don't lose the instruction manual until you've memorized how to do this, though! This is a 900 watt machine, about the same as a low-powered microwave, and it shows off that power by brewing the coffee quite quickly. To do our initial tests, I rinsed the machine with hot tap water and then brewed two cups of coffee with filtered, cold tap water. As a note, PLEASE be careful when adding fresh water to the coffee maker while it is still hot, since it can spit out some steam!! I placed ground coffee and chicory blend into the permanent basket filter and found that, by inspecting the inside, the spot for dripping hot water could be moved to the side in order to remove and place the coffee filter basket, but would automatically swing back into position once the lid was closed. That was nice!!! The resulting coffee, brewed on a "1-4 cup" setting, was much smoother and more rich than our regular instant, both with and without creamer added. It had a nice bit of bubble-froth on it when brewed, too! After making this, my mom hinted broadly that she'd love to use this for her coffee everyday, so I would definitely say that the coffee maker was a hit in our family!! Now, we're off to get some more blends to try!!

It brews your coffee fast and it tastes delicious. Coffee stays hot for hours. I think it’s pretty easy to keep clean. You really can’t go wrong with this machine. Our morning routine varies quite a bit so haven't had a chance to really run the programable feature through all it's paces but setting it up appears to work as it should. The feature we most appreciate is being able to choose "bold" setting. It works! The scent of the coffee and the flavor are noticeably bold as compared to regular setting. We are converts.
