Stopped working after 3 months
Worked really well for exactly three months, then just quit working. One day it displayed an error code, so I followed the troubleshooting advice of unplugging for 30+ min, cleaning the inside, making sure the valve and the filter were unobstructed, and still when I push the brew button, a light comes on but nothing happens. Really disappointing for a $100+ machine.

avoid this coffee pot - read the reviews
Bought this for myself at Christmas time for $100. Within 3 months there was a 'ErR' code displayed on the screen - and the coffee pot started autobrewing in the middle of the night - and then wouldn't function again the next day (displaying the 'ErR'). Was outside of Target's return policy window, and thinking I was paying for quality, threw away the box. Would not recommend this coffee pot at all. The quality is very poor for the considered value.

Worst coffee pot ever! Our first one quit working about 6 weeks after we purchased it. Cuisinart sent us another one, and now it’s not working either. Throws a code and will not brew. Save your money!

ErH Error message-not brewing after 2 months
We had a similar Cuisinart maker that lasted many years. My husband gave me this upgrade as a gift, and we've used it for 60 days. it showed an ErH Error code on the panel and now it will not brew. We followed the protocols we found on line, unplug, reset etc, but still will not work. There was also a small dent in the metal outside when we first unboxed it, but chose to ignore it. We've since recycled the box, so now dont feel we can return the product. So its disappointing. Waste of money, and makes us wonder if the brand is no longer quality.

A great coffee maker
My last coffee maker was the same brand and type but after something like 15 years, it finally wore out. This one is refined and just about perfect. Love it! I would never have a glass carafe. The insulated stainless steel carafe keeps coffee hot for hours without burning it.

Disappointed
A nice looking machine, and we've always like this brand. My husband has wanted a thermal carafe. Unfortunately, the carafe doesn't keep the coffee has hot as he wants it. He pours a cup and envevitably has to heat it up in the microwave.

Electronic panel is NOT good.
electronically I had SEVERAL problems with this Cuisinart! I had no problem setting the clock, turning off the sound to not annoy, but had to push TWICE to get it to Brew. However, a week ago it behaved oddly with an ErH message in the window, couldn't find that info in the instruction pamphlet, my sister-in-law found that online, so we unplugged the machine for almost a full hour, plugged it in again and it brewed appropriately, but this morning, 5 days after the "unplugging ErH" incident the Brew indicator light, when i pushed it to Brew, stayed on for 15 seconds then went off for 2, back on 15 and off two, and it NEVER BREWED! I unplugged it again, waited a full hour, re-set the clock and had all the water and coffee grounds in place, but it never brewed. And the BREW light continued to come on for a bit, then off, then on then off. Ugh. I'm taking it back to Target.

It works great till it don't.
Quit working in about 3 weeks. Similar experience as others, pressed the button to brew, led lit up, but no coffee brewing. I am not an idiot and know how to use a coffee maker. The reply I got from Cuisinart implied I may not have set it up to brew correctly. Ya, right. I returned and bought a different brand.

Poor thermos lid
Pretty good coffee maker. Only reason I didn’t rate it higher is because the thermos lid somehow slows the pouring of coffee into a mug. If you remove the lid then the hot coffee will burn your hand. Removing the lid is the only efficient way I can pour out the last cup. Fix the lid and it would be four stars. Not five stars because there is just too much plastic in this coffee maker. Better than my old Keurig.

Returned Twice
I really loved the features of this coffee maker: 12 cup thermal carafe; fast brew time; programable; program dial (easier and quicker than push buttons). We bought the machine new just before Christmas last year. A month later, the machine shut down during brewing and displayed an ERH warning on the display. I looked it up and said it was a heating element failure. Instructions said to unplug the machine and try again. I did this and tried to brew a new pot the next morning. The brew light flashed and it would not start brewing. I returned the machine and purchased another of the same model. This one lasted less than one week with the same error and the same result the next day. I returned the second one and bought a new machine by a different manufacturer. I still prefer the features of the Cuisinart but I had to opt for a machine that consistently works over features.

New coffemaker has 2 issues and is solid
The coffemaker is great with 2 notes: 1) The old coffemaker had a Bold setting so I only had to use 2 scoops of coffe. I know have to add an additional scoop. 2) Who ever designed the pouring spout on this carafe needs a refresher course in liquid dynamics. It is not easy to pour at all. You have to almost turn the carafe upside down to get the last bit of coffee out. This is annoying big time!!!!

Broke after a month
We just got this in December and on Feb 5th it just stopped working! I’m hoping I can return/exchange it but very expensive and disappointing!!! I love cuisinart stuff usually but this is not a good product!

I used this for a week and a half before it just stopped working. Brew button flashed on and off . I tried all the troubleshooting ideas including unplugging for 5 minutes, making sure the pot was aligned, baskets aligned and still wouldn’t work. Thank goodness Cuisinart has a fantastic customer service crew. They are replacing this machine with a better option.

I really regret this purchase but now I know
The carafe is dishwasher safe, top rack, but the opening size prevents it from sitting amongst the rack spikes. The carafe doesn’t stay warm for even an hour and there isn’t a way to keep the warming plate on after coffee is brewed.

Meh coffee maker
I really wanted a stainless steel carafe coffee maker and this was the most affordable one I could find. It feels like coffee that sits on a burner for a long time has a burnt taste, so I was looking for an alternative. This maker makes mediocre coffee which my husband and I have now gotten use to. We usually use a pour over but this machine does offer convenience when making multiple cups. We kept the machine despite my hesitation, as it works just fine. I wouldn’t recommend buying this full price.
