Poor coffee pot design!
Coffee maker works as intended. The only negative is the pot itself. The internal lip of the coffee pot does not allow all the coffee to be dispensed without spilling. This is an unaceptible feature/design. I've had previous Cuisinart coffee markers and always very satidifed. This design flaw has caused me to seek out other brands.

Good brew but noisy.
The coffee tastes great. At the end of the brew cycle it really rattles loudly. I normally just brew 6 cups. So based on recommendations, I brewed 2 full brews as they said there could be air in the lines. It lessened it, but still noiseier that l than I expected

Dont pour too much water.
This works well if and only if, the water is below ten cups. If it is close to or at the 10 mark, the coffee grounds get stuck and creates a mess. Cleaning involves water run four times to clear out the grounds, while mopping up coffee from counters, floors and anything around it. Awful.

Not well designed, disappointed
Would have loved to love this coffeemaker, because my previous Cuisinart machine lasted 15 years. But when I tried this new one: the pot's design made for very difficult pouring (as other reviewers have complained), the thermal carafe did not keep the coffee warm when I tried to have a 2nd cup 20 minutes later, and the coffee itself only brewed to a tepid temperature. Not a good purchase. Returned it the next day, unfortunately.

Purchased the first one took it home, opened the box. It was used finally found it at another store. The next day purchased it came home, opened it didn’t brew the next day not working at all. I think this has a issue needs to be taken off the floor the person that returned the first one I purchased probably returned it because it wasn’t working and they put it back on the floor

I am amazed and tickled with the coffee maker. I had a previous model that lasted close to 2 decades. Love how much flavor is brought out from the coffee grinds and how hot the coffee is when brewed.

Replaced an older cuisinart coffee maker for a newer model. Used coffeemaker to brew one pot. Finished. Cleaned up. Hours later, smelled an electrical burning odor. It was our brand new coffeemaker! Hot; on our counter. Unplugged. Sat machine outside overnight. Returned machine. Purchased a different brand.

Fantastic coffeemaker
This coffeemaker brings great quality coffee and programmability to a reasonably-priced home machine. I'm not a fan of under-pot heaters, so the insulated carafe is a great alternative - keeps coffee hot for several hours and there's no need to stress over turning the thing off. Cleaning is easy, and the mesh filter is a great alternative to messy paper filters. The activated charcoal prefilter was a nice touch - not sure how much it helps, but it can't hurt. Overall a solid product - glad I purchased it, and I would 100% buy another one if this one failed (though the warranty makes that an unlikely prospect). I have trusted Cuisinart products for years and I have yet to be disappointed.

Did not work right out the box! I was looking for a coffee maker with a stainless steel carafe, and settled on this Cuisinart 12-cup because of the three year warranty. Well who knew I would need to use the three year warranty on Day 1? Immediately, the coffeemaker maker gave an ErH error code. And then it stopped brewing altogether. Cuisinart did offer to send a replacement coffeemaker once I showed a picture of my faulty one with its cord cut. In the meantime, I have. I coffeemaker for the next 10-12 business days. Cuisinart Customer Service is good. This coffeemaker is not.

Stick with Mr. Coffee
While this coffee maker keeps coffee hot for hours, every attempt to make more than 8 cups causes the coffee grinds to overflow from the filter well which creates a mess inside the coffee maker. More than 8 cups is too much water for this coffee maker to handle despite it being labeled "12 cup." It has become a nuisance to have to clean each time because of the grinds stuck in the crevices. The design of the coffee pot itself makes pouring the coffee more difficult than it needs to be, as well. There are better coffee makers out there (I suggest Mr. Coffee) that are less expensive. Utterly disappointed in this product.

Not what I expected, especially for the price. The pot is heavy, pours slowly, and must be tilted quite a bit to get the coffee to come out. The burner turns off right after the coffee is brewed so, if you like to take your time drinking a pot, expect it to be tepid. The plastic tab that hold the filter basket in place is quite frail and will surely break off long before the units life is over.
