Defective
These are defective. It didn't even work one time. It took nearly a month to get a replacement, and that one was defective, too. It shorted out and started smoking the first time i used it.

A must for busy coffee lovers
Extremely easy to use! The first time I made coffee, in the morning, we didn't drink it all (full 12 cups). I went to it after dinnertime and the coffee inside was still warm! I poured it over ice, and it still tasted fresh. Very easy to set up the clock and the program to brew in the morning before work. Absolutely love it.

Fire hazard
Only lasted 3 days. Walked into my kitchen to pour my second cup of coffee of the morning and was greeted by an electrical fire smell coming from the coffee maker. Obviously unplugged it. It was so hot to touch. Went to brew coffee this morning and it won’t brew. Lights still come on. I’m assuming the insides are melted. Happy it didn’t catch my house on fire.

Not sure
We’re still not sure about this coffee maker. We are on our third one now. The first one crapped out in two months the second one didn’t even work. We’re on our third one so we’re not sure how long it will last. I will come back to reviewed in a couple of months.

Well now…. I love this coffee maker! It is stylish, it is very durable, it definitely keeps my coffee warm for hours. My only complaint is that I can’t clean the inside of the pot very well. I’m buying a bottle brush & hopefully that will fix my problem.

Coffee maker review
I purchased this after a lengthy review of other brands, one of which was OXO, which was my first choice. However I wanted a 12 cup in a specific price range, that OXO did not meet. The Cuisinart model I bought, had many features that I do like, but two very important features that I don’t. First, the water fill line is on the right side off to the back. Every time I fill I must rotate the entire unit which is inconvenient. Second but not least, the carafe is poorly designed. When I get down to the last few cups, I just about have to turn it upside down, which results in spilled coffe. That needs a redesign.

We did the unthinkable and tried another brand because of who offered it and was quite disappointed in it. We then used it for the entire lifetime of the brand (6 months) and came back to the brand Cuisinart and the difference in the quality is night and day. We are sorry to have strayed and vow never to do that again. Once again, the quality of your brand is far superior to the other guys.

Disappointed
I’m disappointed for the performance vs the cost. The coffee does not stay hot and there is no mechanism to keep the pot hot after brewing is complete. The coffee scoop on the top always falls off and is not needed.

The on/brew button stopped working winthin two months. The carafe is very heavy, pours very slowely, and doesn't keep the coffee as warm as the standard Cuisinart. I was looking forward to the thermal function and was disappointed. The carafe is also hard to clean, you must use a brush.

Disappointing coffee maker
I have purchased two coffee maker in the past two months and had to return both. The power switch on both failed. I now have purchased a Black and Decker model and hope to have a better experience.

Stopped working after 3 months
Worked really well for exactly three months, then just quit working. One day it displayed an error code, so I followed the troubleshooting advice of unplugging for 30+ min, cleaning the inside, making sure the valve and the filter were unobstructed, and still when I push the brew button, a light comes on but nothing happens. Really disappointing for a $100+ machine.

Bought this for myself at Christmas time for $100. Within 3 months there was a 'ErR' code displayed on the screen - and the coffee pot started autobrewing in the middle of the night - and then wouldn't function again the next day (displaying the 'ErR'). Was outside of Target's return policy window, and thinking I was paying for quality, threw away the box. Would not recommend this coffee pot at all. The quality is very poor for the considered value.

ErH Error message-not brewing after 2 months
We had a similar Cuisinart maker that lasted many years. My husband gave me this upgrade as a gift, and we've used it for 60 days. it showed an ErH Error code on the panel and now it will not brew. We followed the protocols we found on line, unplug, reset etc, but still will not work. There was also a small dent in the metal outside when we first unboxed it, but chose to ignore it. We've since recycled the box, so now dont feel we can return the product. So its disappointing. Waste of money, and makes us wonder if the brand is no longer quality.
