    Good design but product is not long lasting

    [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] On my third one that has died. They are great while they last but this one lasted 11 months. I will enact the warranty but it's disappointing that the product doesn't last. I like the design and that it doesn't have a carafe which is why I keep buying it. But maybe I should look at other brands.

    Best Product

    This is the 3rd Cuisinart on Demand Coffee Maker we have owned. The prior one was still working well after 10 + years. The Coffee amount indicator wasn't working as a small piece had broken off. That piece is more sizeable in the new one. Love this style. Would highly recommend.

    Reliable

    Second one of the same. Serves our needs. Must turn dial after auto brew then back to reinitiate auto. Clean light goes on too often with no reason since we use purified water.

    Very disappointed

    I bought this coffee maker. Was very disappointed in the cord. It was less than 12 inches long. Had to have extension cord to fit to socket.

    A Long-Time Owner - Honest Review

    I’ve owned three Cuisinart DCC-3000 coffee makers over the years, and the fact that I keep buying the same model says a lot about how much I like it. The biggest advantage is the convenience. Instead of pouring from a carafe, you simply press the lever to fill your cup. It’s quick, easy, and much less messy. The coffee stays hot and tastes great even after the brewer automatically shuts off. The built-in Clean reminder is another nice feature. It periodically reminds you to run a cleaning cycle, making routine maintenance easy to remember. Since I have a whole-house water softener, mineral buildup isn’t much of a concern, but I still appreciate the reminder. My biggest complaint is the coffee level gauge. It’s useful, but on every unit I’ve owned, it’s eventually stopped working. Cleaning the coffee reservoir is also a little more work than washing a traditional carafe. I did have one defective unit that had to be returned because the Clean light started flashing during the initial rinse right out of the box. Fortunately, the replacement worked perfectly. If Cuisinart improved the durability of the coffee gauge, updated the display, added smart/Wi-Fi features, and tightened up quality control, this would easily be a five-star coffee maker. Even so, it’s still my go-to coffee maker after all these years.

    Coffee on Demand 12 Cup Programmable Coffee Maker

    Only two weeks in using and already the machine is leaking from the dispenser hole where the cup would set underneath. Manual says the coffee dispensing valve may be clogged, but seriously this soon! I have put in a whole house water system to prevent machine wear down, and this just seems crazy I've got to cross my finger every time I use it hoping it doesn't flood the counter. On top of having to clean the heck out of the coffee filter area when grounds just stick to the the water dispensing holes. Very disappointed in this unit and may be returning it this week.

    Great coffeemaker!

    This is the second coffee maker of this brand and type that we have purchased. The first lasted 17 years and gave us excellent service. A testament to the service and durability of Cuisinart products. This glass carafe-less maker brews excellent coffee, and is very stylish. We would highly recommend.

    A Convenient ‘No Carafe’ Coffee Maker

    [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We've been using this coffee maker for perhaps 20 years now. The initial one was replaced once. Then we moved and, for a while, had two, one in each house; then we sold the second house and gifted the other to a family member. I have a box one in my storeroom just in case the current one needs to be replaced. After such a long time, it's become a legitimate member of the family. I'm gratified to see the coffee maker is still available (though its price recently changed).

    Best coffee maker hands-down!

    This is my second one of these. The first lasted more than 5 years. It makes the best tasting coffee, no pitcher to scrub (or break), and keeps it nice and hot until you finish it. This one may last even longer for me, as it took a bit of a learning curve to find the best cleaner and best schedule for doing it. I have found that most Cuisinart products are extremely well made and reliable, and this coffee maker is no exception.

    Love Love this pot

    All the Perks!

    I purchased this coffee maker to replace an older one that was still working but was slow to dispense coffee and the taste was just so-so. This coffee maker is quite the opposite. The upgrade I enjoy the most is having the light underneath where the cup sits so you can see the cup fill and won't under or overfill. It also dispenses coffee at the right speed. Not too quick or slow. The coffee also has a much better taste and is hotter than my other coffee maker, so maybe that's why the coffee tastes better. It's easy to fill, reload with coffee and set the timer each evening so I have fresh coffee when I wake. I can only say positives about this coffee maker and glad I made the purchase!

    Hot Coffee and convenience

    Keeps the coffee piping hot and i like the convenience of the on demand dispensing! The only thing i wish was different would be to make the dispensing area taller to accomodate a larger cup.
