A: I just bought this one and a light does come on when you open BUT it's such a small light coming out of the side that it's really useless especially due to the interior being a dark gray.

I had to return kenmore because it was smashed. Returned and got this one. Plugged in. While watching tv I heard crackling sounds. The microwave was making sparks. I haven’t even used it yet. I can just imagine if I had done that at night. Beware. Retuning for unsafe reasons.

I like the oven because it is large enough to hold regular size plates, bowls, etc. I don’t use a microwave for cooking. I reheat, heat frozen vegetables, etc. It heats very well, and I like that the settings are timed and labeled for different functions with pre-programed selections. Easy to operate. I’ve had it for about a month and I am satisfied.

bought this to replace a ge microwave that was not heating. followed the instructions to turn off the door lock feature (no kids here). It has done a great job heating everything we have tried so far. I like the inside light also, much nicer than my old unit.

I bought this microwave when it was on sale after looking at so many online and at different stores. This is the best little microwave ever! It heats up so quickly and so hot. It's small and compact, hides on your countertop, and looks really nice. The inside is like the inside of an oven which I absolutely love because it's easy to clean! Whether it's on sale or not don't miss out if they have one get it!!!

I was worried about the lock button after reading reviews but if you look in the booklet that comes with the micro it tells you how to undo the safety feature. Since we have no young children at home I keep it from instant locking. This microwave cooks evenly and popcorn is so quick!

My small apartment didn’t come with a microwave, so we bought this one to put on the counter and love it! It heats things up very quickly and it’s pretty quiet. Our only issue with it is that you have to press the unlock button after you use it, but it doesn’t really bother me. It’s sleek looking and works well. Definitely worth the cost!

First, ignore the bad review regarding the lock. Clearly, it's someone who can't read instructions. That function can be disable. This microwave works really well. It doesn't look cheap. The inside and outside are very easy to clean. For the price, it's a win.

Works great! Got a couple on sale. For the child lock, the sticker on top of the microwave and the instruction booklet says press 7, then press 9, then hold the unlock button in red print to remove the child lock. If you don’t and you press “stop” in the middle of warming stuff up, it locks. But unlocked, works great. I unplugged it and it seemed that it stayed unlocked right after I plugged it back in so maybe it stays unlocked or maybe I plugged it fast the microwave didn’t resets anyway. Top left is the time cook and it runs quiet enough, in my opinion. Looks great, works great, check it out, yo

Have only had it for about 2 months but it works well so far. I really like that it has a timer feature that allows you to set a timer without running the microwave itself — super useful for cooking etc. I wish I could set the clock to 24hr time, though. Stainless steel definitely picks up some fingerprints but not as bad as some other appliances I’ve used.
