I bought this microwave yesterday and try using it later on after leaving from work and the door was latched on. no matter how many times I try to deactivate the door from the child resist it wouldn't let go. I had to return the microwave with my prep meal still inside. Worst experience I ever had from a microwave.

We replaced a panasonic from the early 2000 with this one. Overall, a really great microwave. It is very simple to use， microwave to figure out. my husband and I both really like it. The interior is easy to clean. So far, we've tested quite a few sensor cook options, timed cook, milk/coffee, popcorn, and inv. Turbo defrost. They all seems to work really well. We haven't really had an issue with cold spots in reheated food, so that's great. Likewise, no issue with food being partially cooked during defrost. All in all, would recommend.

So far I absolutely love this microwave, After being forced to use a 600 watt microwave for years due to wiring issues I moved and was able to update to this 1100 watt one. I thought this was the best looking countertop microwave and have faith in Cuisinart... but it was beyond awful. First of all, you can't tell from the photos, but the door overlaps the control pad considerably, so you sort of have to reach around and under it to press the buttons on the left. And the whole control panel is so cheap and flimsy that you have to JAM it to get it to respond. Finally, it "locks" itself the minute you start it, so if you pause cooking, you also have to unlock it. Promptly returned and back to the search.
