  • A: It looks great on our kitchen counter and uses very little counter space. HOWEVER, our machine had some type of fire because it was smoking. I cannot get any help from Keurig.

  • A: DEFINITELY NOT QUALITY MADE! Horrible machine. This thing burned out not even a week after purchase. Tried going through 3 of these exact models. Each time I’d set it up and get it ready for the work week to have a cup of coffee and never failed that I’d set my pod and puncture the seal and press the brew button and the machine would turn off and smell of smoke. Not only is it a potential fire hazard. It’s a horrible product for the price point. I would expect the product to last at least a couple years (or even one brew) before burning out. It was really disappointing that I had the same experience 3 times in a row with the exact same model.

Q: Does the black plastic you use to line the inside of the coffee maker come from recycled electronic e-waste? Or waste that has flame retardant in it. I am concerned about PFAS.

    I like the coffee maker but it quit after 2months of use. Just lights out nothing working at all period. I did all the recommended troubleshooting. Keurig customer support was poor and frustrating to work with. However I warrantied the machine and should be getting a new one. All well and good. But, I'm not happy with the longevity of my machine at all. Should not have to replace a coffee maker after only 2 months of proper use and care that's only serving 1-2cups a day. The machines only come with a 90day guarantee for craftsmanship and a 1year limited warranty. If your machine quits in 2-3 months you might as well just buy your coffee from a coffee shop with the money you spend on the machine and k-cups. I don't want to just sound like a grumpy jerk. I just want to see products made with better craftsmanship. I'm held to a high standard in my work and I think these big companies should be too. We're giving them lots of money.

    Worked great for 14 months. One day it made a horrible grinding noise as it drew up the water, started smoking, and my kitchen smelled of burned plastic. Now it’s a 14 month old paperweight. A paperweight that is 2 months out of warranty. I’m replacing it with a ninja. We’ve replaced 2 keurigs in 3 years. No more.

    I recently purchased this k-supreme after my 30 year old expresso machine no longer was functional. Decided to try a keurig brand again. I found that after I made coffee, I was always microwaving my coffee to get it hot enough. I called the company, they sent me a replacement machine, and it is the same. There is no way to adjust the temp. I started to check the temp immediately after brewed...156* (both coffee makers). If I ran a cycle first to heat the cup, I could get 165*. Which led me to questioning some of my friends about how hot their coffee brewed. This is definitely on the cool end. For reference, McDonalds werves their coffee 180-190*. It works well, so may be ok to brew over ice, just not that hot.

    Over the last couple of years I’ve had to replace my brewer several times because after only a couple months of using it, it stops working. The first brewer I ever had lasted many years, but I think the workmanship and quality now is much different and they are not made to last. I’m extremely disappointed in Keurig products and will probably not purchase another one if this one also goes out.

    Great coffee makers (we've had many) until they don't have power. Two that we have purchased have STOPPED working after the descaling process. Seems to be a manufacturing defect - the capacitor overheats and shuts off all power. There is a great You Tube video on how to take the machine apart, poke the capacitor with a paper clip and HOPEFULLY restore the power for your unit. No guarantee that this will work or all the cup capacity settings will still function. Its worth the try if you're desperate for your cuppa java!! We will still take Keurig up on a replacement and their 35% discount + shipping - although can purchase on sale for same $$! Will recommend to others - with caviate about the descaling process.
