A: Thanks for your question Alex. The K-Café coffee maker does not brew espresso - it brews espresso style beverages. It does not use pressure to brew the K-Cup pods. It brews the K-Cup pods the way any other Keurig brewer brews them, but since it only brews at a 2oz size, it is a more concentrated, stronger cup of coffee that resembles the flavor and roast of a classic espresso beverages. A: I used Starbucks Italian Roast k-pods and it was VERY strong like espresso.
