Q: Can you make espressos ?

A: Thanks for your question Alex. The K-Café coffee maker does not brew espresso - it brews espresso style beverages. It does not use pressure to brew the K-Cup pods. It brews the K-Cup pods the way any other Keurig brewer brews them, but since it only brews at a 2oz size, it is a more concentrated, stronger cup of coffee that resembles the flavor and roast of a classic espresso beverages. We had a 10 year old Keurig so figured it was time for an upgrade. Love the latte/cappuccino feature in this one. It is a regular Keurig and you can make coffee in it, but if you choose the cappuccino/latte function it gives you a strong shot of coffee. You also warm and froth the milk in the frother and pour that over you shot. It comes out delicious, no need to go to Starbucks anymore! There is even an option to leave the milk cold for a cold or iced cappuccino/latte. There are only 2 issues I've had. It seems to have trouble doing the coffee and the frother at the same time so I don't them one at a time. I also wish there was a way to control the amount of milk froth because I'm not a big fan and would prefer less. I ended up throwing some of it out. Overall we are pretty happy with the Keurig. It is easy to use and reasonably priced.

My husband bought this for me for Christmas. The first one did not work. The frother was broken. Returned to the store. Get a new one open it up. It’s been used. There’s milk still in the frother or from someone else. Returned it and ordered it online to assure that I get a new one -it came today. The box is taped up and looks like it has been through a war,r and the Keurig water compartment is cracked so now I am ready to just give up.

Loved the machine until it started randomly turning on the milk frother if left plugged in. If left plugged in after use you’ll get a lovely scare from the magnet piece getting knocked around with no milk in it. Never had a machine do anything like that.

I moved into this Keurig from the elite…and while I enjoy an occasional cappuccino or latte…for my regular coffee…the water doesn’t seem to be as hot. Meaning the coffee isn’t as hot…and the water isn’t as hot for brewing a tea bag. Plus…the water reservoir isn’t as large. And…there’s no steamer.
