  • A: I think the purple reusable filters you mentioned are called "Perfect Pod". I use these myself, and where the bottom "pin" would normally have an open space for the pin to fit without damaging it, the entire bottom space is open, so no precise positioning required.

  • A: Thank you for your question! STEP 1: Prepare the Brewer. Pour the entire bottle of Keurig® Descale Solution into an empty water reservoir. Then, fill the empty bottle with water and pour into the water reservoir. Do not insert a K-Cup® pod. Place a large mug on the drip tray. STEP 2: Descale the Brewer. To activate Descale Mode, begin with the brewer plugged in and powered off, then press and hold the 8oz and 12oz buttons together for 3 seconds. When flashing, press the brew button to start the descaling process. Once the brew is complete, pour the hot liquid into the sink. Repeat this step until the ADD WATER light illuminates. STEP 3: Fresh Water Rinse. Empty the water reservoir and refill to the MAX fill line with fresh water. When flashing, press the brew button to start the rinsing process. Once the brew is complete, pour the hot liquid into the sink. Repeat this step until the DESCALE notification turns off. The brewer has now exited Descale Mode and will be ready for use!   • A: Not a fix, just adding that mine never let me set the permanent strong brew mode either. I tried every combination of events, nothing would ever work. I don't think that feature actually exists :(

The K-Mini Go is available exclusively at Target and is offered in the colors Totally Gray, Now Navy, and Viva Violet. The K-Express coffee maker dimensions are 12.63" H x 4.56" W x 12.87" D, while the K-Mini Go coffee maker dimensions are 12.1" H x 4.5" W x 11.3” D. Both coffee makers offer the same travel mug clearance with the drip tray removed, however the travel mug clearance does vary slightly when the drip tray is in place. The travel mug clearance (with drip tray) is 6.5" with the K-Express coffee maker and 6.2" with the K-Mini Go coffee maker.

I really like my new K-Mini Go; here's why: the design is clean and simple; it's neither too big nor too small; it has a removable water tank which holds about five 8-oz cups before having to refill (a convenience over the mini or mini-mate); you can add the optional carbon filter in the tank (unlike the mini or mini-mate); the controls are simple without bells & whistles; it turns on and off automatically; it's easy to clean; it can use the Universal My K-Cup (your own coffee without pods); it has a "strong" setting; the coffee produced is good and hot; and the color I chose (sage) looks really nice on my counter. No, it doesn't have a clock/timer to automatically start a brew, and it doesn't do anything like iced coffee or frothing milk, but I don't need these things. This model hits the check boxes that are important to me. I can't comment on the long-term dependability of it yet since I only recently bought it, but so far this is just what I was looking for in a coffee maker, and I'm glad I stumbled across it in Target!

I made 4 cups of coffee over the span of a week and in the middle of brewing the 5th cup it just shut off and will no longer power up. It’s completely dead.

This product is cheaply made. The replacement I received does not close properly so making a cup of coffee is very difficult. I’m very frustrated with this and now questioning the quality of the Keurig brand.

My daughter is being treated for her second bout of cancer. We are traveling to and from UAB so I bought this machine to take with us since Starbucks and Panera were getting expensive. I’ve bought three Keurig coffee makers in the last year because they all keep breaking. The previous ones just stopped working, but this one leaked all over my counter after a month or two. Absolute garbage. Never buying another Keurig again. They’ve gotten more chances than they deserve. Done with this brand for good.

Glad that I was offered a replacement without much of a hassle, but just not satisfied that I was given a refurbished unit. Makes me think that what others have said about this type of brewer being faulty might actually be true. For the company to have this many refurbs, its probably because of all the faulty units being sent back in.

I purchased this item and had to return it 4 days later. It stopped working properly, the water wasn’t filtering through and pods were exploding. I wish I would have read the reviews before I purchased it. Target was great about the return though!
