    Unacceptable appliance

    I am thoroughly disappointed in this coffee maker. After trying to get a decent cup let alone a whole pot to be drinkable I give up and it’s going in the trash.

    Great idea

    Love it. The one cup side is drip coffee-not Water pushed through like Keurig. Fine for us, I think those plastic cups are so wasteful. Easy to use, we are very happy with it.

    Motor failed after 5wks

    I wanted this concept (single brew and multi cup) for months. I thought this would be a good alternative to those wasteful K-demons that you have to replace every 2 years. Well, Hamilton Beach proved that an alternative can also be trash! Within a spectacular run of 5 freaking weeks, the motor for the single brew is almost non functional. From the beginning the single brew function could never make a hot cup of coffee (cup would be tepid by the time I reached my desk). Over the weeks, the brew time became longer and longer. I pray to our oligarchy overlords they let me return this trash. I'm going to spend the money on a Braun like I originally wanted.

    Convenience

    Excellent product for the price and Customer Service is superb

    I had this same product for about 10 years when the pot itself broke but the machine was still working. Thought it would be time for a new unit and found the same model. The first one I did have an issue with, but the customer service was superb and replaced it right away.
