  • A: We can confirm that our silicone utensils are indeed 100% silicone and are thoroughly safety tested by accredited independent laboratories. This means that the utensils are confirmed as being fully compliant with regulations for rubber articles as set by the US FDA under 21 CFR 177.2600. Put simply, compliance with this US FDA regulation means that nothing migrates out of the utensils that could cause harm to humans or animals. Additional safety testing by the same independent lab also confirms that no harmful substances such as phthalates or heavy metals are contained within silicone material. We can also confirm that the utensils are compliant with California Proposition 65.

Love the clean up.

I absoluted love my new pans, clean up, cook time and light weight pots make life easier. The only reason I gave a 4 star rating is the size of the pots are smaller than I am use to so I have to rethink my recipes to accommodate the smaller sizes. I also appreciate the fact that when I questioned the oven use temp I got a quick reply of 350 degrees.

cheap easily even solely using silicone

GARBAGE! Had 3 months and even with extra special care they are chipping. Always use silicone utensils and still chipping very easily!

It was the perfect gift for my grandmother. It cooks food beautifully and to your perfection. She has a gas stove and the heat is evenly distributed while cooking. Her cooking times are significantly reduced compared to the older pots she once used as well. Not for Gas Stoves!

I do like these pans. Even cooking, easy to clean, however I recently have had issues with cleaning when high heat was used and also one of our handles melted and smelt horrible which let me back to the reviews and noticed this has happened to others as well. I would not recommend these if you have a gas stoves. The specifications do say these are compatible with gas stoves. I will try to reach out to Green Pan customer service regarding any possible warranty if it is still applicable.

Not a fan of the Greenpan Rio line

Unfortunately, these aren’t designed for gas stoves with higher heat settings. After using them a couple of times, both my saucepans’ plastic handles burned and emitted a foul, strong odor. I had to put my toddler outside until I could remove the smell because she was sensitive to it. I've never had this happen before.

Not meant for gas stoves!

I bought this set and was so excited! That was until I heard a popping noise and burning smell coming from my stove.. I realized the handle of my pot was burning!! Charred and melting! Buyer beware, not meant for gas stoves. I don’t know if I missed the memo on that, but, I’ll be double checking my next set!
