Q: do the handles get extremely hot?

A: The stay cool handles don’t work. I use oven mitts to or a clean dish towel grab mine

I wish I had used this set sooner. I would return them if still in the return window, but I kept them in the box until recently. Even using cooking oil, everything stuck and made the pots and pans look awful. We've had to scrub and scrub and they still look dirty and very used. So very disappointed in Cuisinart. :-(

I want to warn anyone from buying this set of stainless steel pans in order to save you a big headache. Learning to cook with stainless is already a challenge in itself self and these pans will make it even harder. They don’t disclose the grade of stainless steel it is. Even if you follow the rules for stainless you won’t receive the results you expect because of the low quality. If you really do want to switch to stainless steel I suggest you invest in a better quality. The picture here shows what developed on all my pans after a few uses! very disappointed 🥹 don’t buy them!!

They are pretty and much healthier than ceramic and any other nonstick pan that’s out there. You have to learn to cook with them so your food doesn’t get stuck. We cooked everyday meals on it perfectly and no sticking. The only downside is after one use the bottom of the pans are discolored. So it makes them look old. The inside also started getting some white speck like if you didn’t dry it off immediately which threw us off.

These things saved Thanksgiving dinner and were so easy to clean! Definitely worth the money! My old pit and pan set of a decade old finally kicked the bucket. Bought these to replace them so I could cook Thanksgiving dinner and dessert and they did not disappoint! My mash potatoes came out smoother with this set cooking everything evenly! Even my chocolate pie filling cooked to perfection! And cleanup was a breeze! Even with sticky stuffing! Just hot water and some dish soap, let it sit until the water cools to room temp and everything inside, dumped out the water and it looked as brand new as when I bought them! So happy with this set!
