GoodCook 6pc Knife Block Set

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Nice set of knives! Strong, sharp, and takes up very little space. They seem to be made well and will hopefully last long. Definitely a convenient knife set. The block is nice as well. Not too heavy but sturdy. I would definitely recommend.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The knives have worked out fantastic. The butcher block is small enough to slide into the corner of the counter safely away from children. When using them they don’t flex like other knives they are far more sturdy. It is small enough it could be used in a small apartment with little counter space. They clean nicely in the dishwasher and the handles don’t look dull after several washes. I would definitely recommend these for any home. Would also make a good gift for a graduate moving out on their own.

I like that it comes with the block to keep them more secure than in a drawer and that it comes with all the different knife styles/sizes you could need. I would say this is a great starter set or single person set that wouldn’t need more than one steak knife at a time!

The knives don’t feel very comfortable to hold especially the big one, which has an awkward grip that makes cutting a bit harder than it should be. They get the job done, but the overall feel and performance aren’t great. Definitely not in my top picks.

I love the small block aspect. At first I was thinking why is it so small but it makes sense. It sits perfectly on my counter in a safe container out of the way. I’d purchase these for sure u won’t be disappointed.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I was very excited to receive this Knife set for review. It is perfect for my small NYC kitchen with its limited counter space. The knives are comfortable to hold, they have 3 rivets for security, and are lightweight. I have been able to cut, slice and serrate with ease. Are they the best knives I’ve used? No, but at the very reasonable price point they do what I need. I’m going to check out GoodCooks other products for reasonably priced kitchen products.

It is a nice compact size wood knife block that holds all 6 knives securely. All knives were nice and sharp and cut nicely. Be careful when using as you don’t want to cut anything but the food you’re chopping.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I recently tried the Good Cook knife block set, and my experience was mixed. Some of the knives are quite sharp and do a great job slicing thin pieces, but in general, you need to use extra effort to cut through certain foods. The serrated knife was the most disappointing — it doesn’t cut well at all and feels awkward to use when trying to slice evenly. Out of the six knives, I really liked three of them, which worked well for everyday cooking. Overall, it’s a decent starter set, but not all the knives perform equally.

It is very light in weight not like the other famous brands I have. The handle is mostly plastic probably that’s why. There are five different sizes and they are pretty sharp. I can’t say it is five star product but definitely deserves at least three or four stars

The handles have a great grip to them and when you cut something the knife just cuts straight through without difficulty.The quality is great and you have one of each size to use on any type of food your looking to cut up.
