Q: Can these be honed/sharpened with a honing rod? The serrated knives are extremely dull and can't even cut a carrot without using brute force and I would like to try sharpening them with a honing rod. Thanks.

I bought this knife set because it was rather cheap, and for good reason. All the knives are serrated so you have to saw through anything, but it doesn’t matter because they can’t even cut through an apple. The block was the only decent part of the entire set, and it’s definitely a lot better to buy one useful knife than a set of useless ones.

The stove was turned off already. I put the spatula in and went to bring plates. By the time I returned the spatula has already melted and got stuck to the skillet. Definitely had to throw away my food and the spatula. They should not be adding poor quality stuff just for the name sake! It's horrible.

I dislike everything about this knife set. I wish I would’ve read the reviews before I purchased. The only good things about it is the wood block size, the scissors, and one knife out of a whole bunch.

Pros: cuts things, like food. Cons: there's no mistaking this is a cheap set. Knives bend easily. Rubber spatula is anything but (more like a hard plastic). Do they do the job? Yes. Will it spark joy? Doesn't matter, really, now does it.

These are the worst knifes imaginable. They can't even cut butter. Horrible blades and started rusting after washing 1 time. Spend the extra money and get quality a knife set. I'll have to pay someone to take these and then buy more.

the knives are so dull and all serrated (even the chef's knife.) You basically have to saw to cut anything. There are also not enough slots for all of the knives. Save your money and invest in a better set.

the other reviews saying the knives are dull are right. i hand wash & dry my knives so i haven’t had any problem with rusting. but all the knives in this set are serrated except two - like it’s the worst variety you could get. it actually makes it harder to cut things. it’s cheap and you get a lot of knives. i get it. do yourself a favor and just buy one chefs knife and one serrated knife and one paring knife. don’t buy this.

Flimsy, bendy, rusts, not sharp at all. Pretty sure most of the money spent on this went towards the wooden knife holder. Skip these sets and buy your knifes 1-3 at a time for more likely better quality.

First off, the knife block has wood chips that are loose where you put the knives at. Second, the knives itself are horrible quality. They have rusted in less than a month and don’t have cutting power. They don’t even have enough slots for each of the knives.
