Q: Is the handle heat resistant or heat proof/not conductive at all?

submitted by Isabel - 2 months ago

  • A: Hi! The handles are heat-resistant, stay-cool, and non-conductive during regular stovetop cooking. However, they are not completely heat-proof—they are oven-safe up to 350°F (175°C), so exposure to high oven heat or direct open flames can damage them.

Q: Is there any preparation to the pans before using them?

submitted by Janice - 6 months ago

  • A: Hi! Here are some recommendations: Before first use, just wash the pans with warm soapy water, dry thoroughly, and they’re ready to go. Avoid high heat and preheating the pan on low-medium heat for best results.

    Not recommended

After the very first use, the non-stick coating started peeling off, even though I only used plastic spatulas and soft sponges to wash it. Now, even if you add oil, everything sticks to it—whether it's meat, eggs, or fish

    Did not last a year

Despite having washed these by hand and using nylon and silicone utensils only, and never using high heat, the teflon started flaking off of the frying pans.
