Q: From the pictures, it looks like the lids are not transparent. Is that so? I like to see if my water is boiling, etc.

  • A: That's correct! Our lids are made from the same material and color as the body of the pans. There is a small steam hole that helps for boiling!

  • A: We highly recommend hand washing over dishwasher usage! Dishwasher detergents tend to have harsh ingredients that can aid in the rapid deterioration of the nonstick coating.

    Not Great With Induction Stovetop

    Purchased set in 2021. Loved the look and the heavy feel! Seemed/felt high quality. Cleaning was a breeze. Took a while for us to figure out that this set didn’t work well with our induction stovetop. We could not get water to boil. We thought it was the brand new induction stovetop so we kept calling manufacturer and they replaced it twice! Repairmen would verify pans were magnetic and then they would try to boil water with no luck. Pans cooked unevenly, only getting hot in the middle. After months of this it dawned on me that maybe it’s the pots and pans. I borrowed my neighbors stainless steel pot and the water boiled in 4 minutes. I assume they work better with gas or electric stovetop because I personally know people who have been happy with their sets. Anyway, the set we purchased was 5 years ago so hopefully/maybe Caraway has improved their compatibility with induction stovetops.

    Reliable cookware

    Purchased the navy blue set. I love that this cooks evenly and is so easy to clean. However, after a couple of months of use, there are already stains and scratches at the bottom.

    Everything sticks

    My husband got me these pans for Christmas and I was so excited. They are beautiful heavy duty, but no matter what I do or how I cook EVERYTHING sticks to my pans. They say non stick but that is not the case for me.

    Very easy to cook and clean
