Q: From the pictures, it looks like the lids are not transparent. Is that so? I like to see if my water is boiling, etc.

A: That's correct! Our lids are made from the same material and color as the body of the pans. There is a small steam hole that helps for boiling!

A: We highly recommend hand washing over dishwasher usage! Dishwasher detergents tend to have harsh ingredients that can aid in the rapid deterioration of the nonstick coating.

A: Our longer-handled cookware, such as the Sauté Pan, Fry Pan, and Sauce Pan all have a notch a few inches up the handle. This notch designates at what point the handle should stay cool enough to grab with bare hands. Extended use could cause that warmth to increase slightly further up the handle, but it would not for nearly all regular meals and recipes!

These are gorgeous pots and pans and I love that they come with a way to organize them. Note that the hanger for the lids won’t work on all cabinet doors so be sure to find a door on a cabinet without a middle shelf.
