On the single-serving side, you have two brewing options: making coffee with your favorite brand of pod (such as a K-Cup* pod) or using ground coffee. Using a pod lets you brew up to 10 oz. of coffee, and brewing with coffee grounds lets you brew any size cup up to a 14 oz., 7-1/4" tall travel mug. When you want 12 cups of coffee, simply fill the water reservoir and brew basket on the carafe side just like you would a traditional coffee maker. You can set up wake-up ready coffee the night before with Easy-Touch programming and pour yourself a cup before the brewing cycle has finished with Automatic Pause and Pour. After brewing, coffee stays warm in the carafe for 2 hours, then the power automatically shuts off. No matter which way you brew, Select-a-Brew lets you choose bold or regular brewing strengths.
