Faulty power switch

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Sleek design. I used it for one cup of coffee. Later when I tried to bake a second cup, the on switch would not stay on. It would activate the red light but immediately shut off. I’ve tried plugging into different outlets but same thing happens. The on switch will no stay on. I can almost hear it warming up the water but it cut off so fast, it won’t dispense any water into the basket of coffee .

Tastes good which is number one. Brews quickly and it's easy to clean. Reasonably priced too. Has its own filter basket but I line it with a paper one also. I must have had at least 15 of these over the years. I hope they never stop making them. The taper of the mug is just right for my hands.

The tab on the mesh filter has broken twice (on 2 different filters!) Needs to be redesigned to be more sturdy!

I just purchased this and have had 2 problems. The first being that the xup came without a lid. Not a huge problem but inconvenient. Second, it never brews an entire cup. It continuously shuts off after brewing barely any water. I have went through 2 cycles of water and have to press the start multiple times for it to brew the entire cup that it came with. It is not efficient, and not what i expected.

I asked to get this for Christmas because I know it was big enough to fit my Kwik Trip Caruba Gold refillable mug and I got I was pretty excited but it keeps shutting off every time I triy to make coffee and I have to keep hitting on button again in order for it to fill up

Water Drained Straight Through the Unit

I’m so disappointed. I got this for my fiancée for Christmas and the first time he went to use it, the water drained almost immediately through the bottom of the unit. We tried troubleshooting to see what we were doing wrong but it is definitely the machine. We can see straight through the reservoir through the bottom, why is there hole in our reservoir?!!? Ridiculous, so disappointed.

Coffee all over...

I bought it a month ago, problem is every time I use it coffee grounds end up all over the place. It doesn't matter what kind of coffee I use whether course or fine ground, it ends up flowing all over the inside of coffee maker and in coffee mug. Very, very unsatisfactory results. Coffee filter needs a filter basket cover.

I love the size. I love the reusable filter - better for the environment than those horrid pods. I love that I can put the filter, filter holder & cup in the dishwasher and I love that I can make a fresh cup every time. I prefer to use my contigo cup and go. I am on my second machine in about 10-15 years (I am terrible with dates) and hope they never stop making this product.

The first time I used it it made coffee. it worked. After that though, the water would collect in the basket but not go through the coffee, also it puts out steam in sudden bursts that has burned me a few times. I have washed it and even changed the coffee grinds a few times. Nothing. I don't understand why ! There is nothing seemingly blocking it from going down into the cup. I tried it with the travel cup lid off, and on. I am ready to throw it out. Just not fair it only worked once. Not even sure I still have the receipt, cuz I expected Black and Decker to make a really quality product. That steam spitting thing is really really dangerous !!!
