Q: Why oh why was this coffee pot engineered with the power-on light at the back right rear where you can't see it unless you look around back?
A: Meanwhile, just place something reflective behind it to save yourself the trouble of turning the machine around.

Q: I measured and set up machine with basket in the proper position. Water does not fully drain from filter and leaves a mess in the basket. Why is this happening? Is it a faulty machine?
A: Having the same issue and have checked the basket and carafe position to make sure that’s not the problem.

For a possible fix, please check if the filter basket is inserted correctly and the carafe is properly placed on the warming plate. Also, try using standard coffee grounds and avoid overfilling the coffee basket. Lastly, make sure not to remove the carafe from the warming plate for more than 30 seconds while brewing.
