For a deeper clean, fill the reservoir with a half‑vinegar, half‑water mixture up to the 5‑cup line, turn the machine on, let it brew halfway, then turn it off and let the mixture sit for 30 minutes. After soaking, turn it back on to finish brewing the vinegar through. Once done, run two full cycles of fresh water to rinse out any remaining vinegar.
