I bought one and the display did not work out of the box. I returned it for a second one and the display did not work as well. Hamilton beach 0 for 2. Truly disappointed in what we allow. An exchange does not account for me driving to the store and back to the store. From what I can tell by the reviews this is a known issue for Hamilton Beach and the fact they are trying to sell this for 60.00 is baffling.

Bought it in store and the clock works just fine and it is easy to program. Makes a good cup of coffee and has a nice brewing sound. No loud beeping. The is a good coffee pot if you need something cheap!

Makes a pot of hot OR cold coffee!
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Love being able to make a whole pot of either hot or cold coffee. Wish that in order to make cold coffee, I didn't have to fill the pot with ice. Not really a new idea, we've been icing our hot coffee to make it cold forever. Just nice to have a whole pot instead of having to do it per cup.

DO NOT BUY THIS COFFEE MAKER. I purchased one because I liked the idea of brewing iced coffee. Brought it home and plugged it in and the display doesn’t work properly. Right out of the box, several of the LEDs on the clock are not lit, making the “programmable” function nonexistent. Thought it was just a defective product. Took it back to Target the next day to exchange, no problem. Brought the new one home and the SAME ISSUE exists. Two coffee makers purchased with dysfunctional displays. Will not be trying my luck with a third. Returning immediately

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I wanted a simple coffee maker that made a pot of coffee with no fuss. I went through the K-cups and pods phase and needed something more than that. This coffee maker does that job perfectly. It’s got a power button—that allows you to select the brew strength/size—and a couple buttons for the clock so that it can be programmed. That’s it. Very easy to use, not a lot of intricate parts to clean, and it makes the coffee very hot. In short, it does what it’s supposed to and it does it very well. Because of its simplicity, I expect it to be a very reliable machine that I will be using every morning for years to come. That’s part of the beauty of Hamilton Beach products and I love them!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I love iced coffee so I was excited to try this machine. A full pot (12cups) takes about 15 minutes to brew iced coffee. The balanced flavor hit the spot and is very easy to make. The footprint is compact for what you get, no complaints. The carafe though....why a plastic spout? The only issue I found was that water would not fully empty from the pot when pouring to empty. There's about an ounce left after pouring and it took some extra work to fully clean. The interface panel is very easy to operate and keeps time. For hot coffee, the temp was about 180°F, pretty standard and the hot plate worked well. Overall it's a great coffee maker for both iced and hot coffee to enjoy all year long. I will be enjoying this machine for years to come!

Straigt to the Landfill for this one. I will Never Buy Hamilton Beach Again. Difficult to Program precise times, does not pause if you try to pour while brewing, HEATER SHUTS OFF IN THIRTY MINUTES with no way to adjust.

The unit was very easy to set up and I enjoyed coffee in both temperatures. The machine has an easy to fill, large capacity water reservoir and multiple brew strengths for the perfect cup every time. The auto brew feature allows for coffee to brew at a time of the user's choice for added convenience. The machine also makes flavorful iced brew an easy treat. I love the pause & pour feature that lets me sneak a cup mid brew with no mess. The slim design also takes less counter space as an added bonus. Overall this is a great coffee maker for those that love both hot and iced coffees and are looking for the convenience of making coffee at home.

I also like that it has an iced coffee setting. It has a nice steady pour as it’s being made. Also love the big pot making it easier to clean. This makes my morning coffee much more enjoyable!
