I have been using this coffee maker for about a month and the washer on the basket has worn out. It will not hold the spring and the bottom plastic pieces onto the basket. I am disappointed that parts will fail so soon after purchase. I will not buy another Mr. Coffee coffeemaker.

We replaced this coffeemaker with the same make and model after having one for several years. The replacement lasted 2 months. I hoped it was a fluke. Exchanged it for another one. Today it went out. It’s been one month. Don’t waste your money on this machine. They’re making them cheap and disposable now. It’s a shame. Another long term brand with customer loyalty has become a junk peddler. RIP Mr Coffee.

Brand new coffee pot. brand new, as it brews, the coffee grounds--correctly inserted--clog up in the basket so water will not get through to the coffee pot. The basket is full of water when done perking and coffee grounds are in the coffee and all over the whole pot. Very unhappy. Also, almost impossible to get the lid back on as the pegs don't go into the slots.

After the first use, it began leaving coffee grounds in the brew coffee. on the second day, I was not able to get a cup of coffee until I had to dump it in a strainer and try to get a cup of coffee without grounds in it. It was easy to use the capacity was OK, but you couldn’t drink the coffee without a strainer. I ordered a different coffee maker. I would not recommend this coffee maker ever.

Bought this in June, failed in December. Filed a warranty claim which was a pain to do but Mr. Coffee honored it and sent me a new one. But it took awhile to arrive and I needed a coffeepot so I bought it again. The new one lasted ONE WEEK. Don't waste your money.
