Q: The brewing button on my coffee maker is flashing. What does this mean and how do I turn it off?
A: I tried unplugging waiting 5 minutes and plugging back in and the light is still flashing. What do I do?

Q: Does the clock light up?

The clock light should not light up. The coffee maker has no backlit display. Only the indicator lights up. The LCD screen shows AM or PM depending on the time. We hope this would help. Q: The description states it has a clean setting, but I don't see a button for this on the picture. How does it clean?

Q: Hello, does this coffee maker has a 'beep' sound when it finished brewing the coffee?
A: No, this particular model (which I have) does not beep when the coffee is finished brewing. My previous Mr. Coffee did beep when starting, done brewing and shutting down. Only honest answers please.

Q: When I press the "Brew/Stop" button to turn off the coffee maker the green light indicating the coffee maker is on blinks for hours and never turns off. How do I fix this?

To resolve this, we recommend unplugging the coffee maker for a few minutes and then plugging it back in, as this can sometimes reset the system. Please also ensure the water reservoir is properly seated, as a misaligned reservoir might prevent the machine from turning off. Lastly, check that the control panel buttons are not stuck or malfunctioning and try pressing the "Brew/Stop" button again to see if it responds. Q: Does this coffe maker have an on/off button to start and turn off? Or do you have to use the auto programming feature to start it and use the auto shut-off feature for it to turn off?

Mr. Coffee® 12-Cup Programmable Coffee Maker with 3 Ways to Brew System does not have an on and off button, however, as soon as you plug it in it will turn on, you can click on brew to start and click on stop to stop it as soon as you want it but also it has 4-Hour Auto-Shutoff automatically turns off the coffee maker, so you don’t have to. Q: When cleaning light comes on. What to use to clean it
A: Thank you for reaching out to Mr. Coffee®. We value your continued support of our product and we are glad to assist you with your inquiry. To clean your coffee maker, follow the instructions below: Daily Cleaning: Always unplug the coffeemaker and allow it to cool before cleaning. Remove the filter basket, permanent filter (not included on all models), decanter, and decanter lid and wash them in a solution of hot water and mild liquid soap. Never use abrasive cleansers, steel wool pads, or other abrasive materials. Dishwasher top-rack safe parts: glass decanter and lid, filter basket, and permanent filter. The water filter disk is not dishwasher safe. Never immerse the coffeemaker itself in water, in any other liquid, or place it in the dishwasher. Decalcifying your Mr. Coffee® Coffeemaker: Minerals (calcium/limestone) found in water will leave deposits in your coffeemaker and will affect its performance. It’s recommended that you regularly remove these deposits by using Mr. Coffee® Cleaner or vinegar. 1. Follow package instructions to prepare one batch of MR. COFFEE® Cleaner. Pour the mixture into the water reservoir. Before decalcifying, remove the water filtration disk from the machine. NOTE: 4 cups or 20 fl. oz. of undiluted, white household vinegar may be used as a substitute for the cleaner. 2. Place an empty Mr. Coffee® 10-12 cup basket-style paper filter or Mr. Coffee® permanent filter into the filter basket and close the brew basket lid. 3. Place the empty decanter back in the unit, centered on the warming plate. 4. Brew three cups of cleaning solution through the coffeemaker. 5. Turn the coffeemaker off and let stand for 30 minutes. 6. Run the remainder of the cleaning solution through the coffeemaker. 7. Discard the cleaning solution and rinse the decanter thoroughly with clean water. 8. Q: I can’t find filters that are tall enough to prevent coffee grounds from spilling over into the coffee carafe. I need a size that is 2.75” sides/height, 4” across bottom and 4.75-5” across the top.

Q: My brewing button is flashing. I looked at the instructions but couldn't find anything. Also, I bought this machine 3 and a half months ago for $65.00, am I missing something?
