A: I unplugged the unit to reset it, but the flashing light returned.

A: It’s possible you held the brew / stop for 3 seconds and activated the clean cycle ~?~ This just happened to me right now .. Unplug the unit wait for the flashing hold button for three seconds and it should shut it off . If not repeat the process. I had to do it twice. I seems it fixed the issue.

A: Hello there! Thank you for your question. You can absolutely brew just 2 cups with the Mr. Coffee 12-Cup Programmable Coffee Maker—you do not need to use all 12 cups of water every time. Simply add 2 cups of water to the reservoir and adjust the amount of coffee grounds accordingly (about 1 to 2 tablespoons per cup, depending on your taste). The machine will brew however much water you add—no need to use the auto-pause feature unless you want to pour a cup before the brew cycle finishes.
