    Needed a lid. Had to buy a whole carafe.

    It arrived in a timely manner and intact. Thing is, I had to buy the whole darn carafe even though all I needed was a lid for the carafe I already had.

    Simple Process for Replacement Carafe

    Good replacement carafe. It was shipped in a reasonable time and good quality replacement for a pot that chipped. I didn't have to buy an entire unit, just the carafe which was convenient.

    Short life!

    I bought this in October as a replacement for my other carafe that cracked. It has been less than 3 months and this one is cracked as well. I have been replacing carafes to save $, but at this point I may just be better to buy a Keurig and stop replacing carafes!

    Does not fit the CM1050B as indicated.

    Bought this today and it will not insert into the unit. The lowest lid is still too tall and the design of the hole to push up the stopper is incorrect and lifts the entire basket. B&D should remove the reference to fitting the CM1050B. A wasted trip and now I have to make another.

    Cant' find glass carafe

    This coffee maker was a gift. I really like it but the glass carafe broker and I can't find the exact replacement anywhere. I want the original, Not a make shift one. Looks like everyone else is having the same problem!!! plase help.

    Does not woprk with CM5050

    It says it will work with model CM5050 but one lid is smaller and other is taller. Has to send back.

    Great Coffee at all times

    I bought this coffee machine last year and is great. Grind coffee beans and make perfect coffee all mornings. Can´t live without it. The lid / cover of the Carafe broke with the use and I´m trying to buy a replacement for the CM5000BCKT model. Where can I buy it near Vancouver? Thanks in advance for your help.

    Doesn't fit coffee maker

    Bought to replace broken carafe for CM4000S. Coffee maker was not listed under ones that the carafe would fit, but gave it a try since it's the only Black & Decker 12-cup replacement I could find. It doesn't fit in the coffee maker with either lid.

    Lid doesn't fit

    Neither of the lids fit easily in the coffee maker. It takes 2 hands to pull the carafe out, one on the carafe and one on the maker itself.

    I bought as a spare coffee make , however after a few months the carefe coffee maker got a hole with no reason, no crack al all. I took a pic but I can to transfer to your page. If you send me an Email I will do your request.

    Just what I need

    I know that eventually a glass carafe will crack or break. So instead of waiting for a new one I have one now. I don't like waiting for my coffee.

    Bought the replacement Carafe in Dec. of 2015, but the one that was shipped would not open the valve on the basket. Made a call about the issue and the correct one was promptly sent. Excellent and timely response.

    Exact Replacement For Broken Carafe

    I am very pleased with my replacement carafe. It has all the same markings as my previous carafe. All I need to do is to be careful with it as it is glass.

    DOES NOT FIT MODEL CM1050B

    I recently had to purchase a replacement carafe for one of our office coffee makers and after doing my research to find the correct model replacement carafe, I concluded that the GC3000B model was the correct one. I WAS WRONG. This replacement model does not fit CM1050B whatsoever. Do not let the package or information on the internet mislead you to making a useless purchase! Black & Decker, fix your mistake!

    Disappointed

    Had a unit, broke carafe...no replacement found locally...Bought another coffee pot AND (due to new marble counter tops--no give when knocking against them), broke another pot. Looked on line and bought 2 carafes. When I go to brew coffee, I have to put a little wedge under edge of pot to get the water to flow properly or else it fills up inside and puts grounds in the pot. I am thankful I have the carafe BUT I do wish it functioned as the original unit.

    Retracting a previous review.

    A few days ago I posted a review for this replacement carafe stating that it wasn't working as advertised. I have since then tried the carafe again and find that the problem was due to user error. I want to retract my previous review in light of that. The carafe works fine. It's the user who doesn't!

    Lids don't work with DLX1050B as advertised.

    I ordered this replacement carafe per information that it fit my model DLX1050B. Turns out the lid pushes the grounds basket up too high and doesn't allow the plunger to open the exit drain. I can only get it to work by holding the basket down until enough water weighs it down enough to allow the lid to push up the plunger. Very disappointing! I'm going to ask for a refund.

    Isn't as universal as it is supposed to be.

    Doesn't work with the DCM1100B coffee maker unless you hold the carafe in position. The base of the carafe is slightly smaller than the original carafe. The spring loaded actuator lever pushes the empty carafe out of the way and stops the flow of coffee.
