It was constantly requiring cleaning. When it requires cleaning it doesn’t work. So that message can come during a cup of coffee it stops working. It’s essentially malfunctioned or a poor design.

Every time I go to make a cup of coffee I have splatter that I have to clean off the counter. Very annoying and to make matters worse if you’re standing at the counter not even in front of the maker you get coffee splatters on your clothes.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Hamilton Beach flex brew advanced five in one coffee machine does quite a lot, but doesn’t take up a lot of space on my countertop. My family and I use a bunch of K- pods because it’s the quickest way to get a cup of coffee in the morning. We love the ease with this Machine. There’s a holder where you can put in your Kpods and if you want to make a larger amount of coffee, you can switch out the holder with a basket that lets you brew without pods into a carafe pot which is included . Coffee is piping hot. Water reservoir can hold up to 12 cups. Have not tried the iced coffee feature as family prefers hot coffee. We are liking this machine! Easy to clean too.

I can brew one cup or water or 12 cups from the pot. I can also use the K-cup area I can use it to brew a cup or tea using a cup or a cup of coffee using the little basket. The screen is very easy to use and follow. We did have one instance where we told it to brew a certain amount and it only gave us half of it. Being able to move the water tank from the side to the back is a major win.

I love that it meets my needs for all the types of coffee that I enjoy throughout the week. It saves a lot of counter space for me to have this product that can brew single hot or iced coffee with a K-cup pod or Grounds or hot coffee via the carafe or single cup. The coffeemaker has been easy to use to select the coffee I desire and it has been convenient to empty the grounds and wipe the product to clean. The device has a nice solid weight so it is sturdy while operating. The water reservoir is easy to fill. Coffee brewing for my single cups is super fast and I can choose regular or bold strengths. Overall this product takes the guesswork out of making coffee and the variety of choices keeps me happy.

It was very easy to set up a learn about all the new features I have. Not only am I able to make hot coffee and tea but I can also make iced drinks as well. As well as a single up, it comes with a pot to make a bunch at once whether for myself or a group of people. It was a cup brewer as well as a brew basket for single use and a big basket of making a pot of coffee. The reservoir for the water can hold up to enough water for 12 cups. It does since cups, 12 cup pots of coffee, pods and/pr grounds. There’s nothing it can’t do! I love the programming capability so it has coffee ready for me in the morning before I go to work. It is super quiet so it’s fine for it to run before I get out of bed. The machine itself isn’t super bulky so it fits great on the kitchen counter without hogging all the space. The first thing I was impressed with is this is very streamlined and won't be taking up alot of counter space! I really like you can make up to a 12cup pot or you can make 1 cup at a time so you can have fresh coffee whenever you want. This was very easy to use and I like the digital display. There wasn't alot of noise when it runs. Clean up was easy for me and didn't take long. I love that you can make different kinds of coffee so everyone gets the kind they like and don't have to wait! This isn't cheaply made by no means and should last your family for years. The big pot of coffee was made fast to. The coffee came out tasting amazing. So far I have only tasted coffee out of the big pot but my husband used the pods because he likes different flavors and he thought the coffee was good.

I had the older version and the water tank was located In the back but this model now comes with the tank on the side which is more convenient to fill. The coffee maker allows you to enjoy pods, ground coffee beans with its attachment pod that’s stored under the cup stand and a great way to not lose them, you can also enjoy iced/cold coffee while also including the ability for coffee pot drinkers to chime in. The oh so cool design that Hamilton Beach created by hiding the coffee pot under/in this coffee maker is truly the smartest design ever. The coffee pot filter is located above the coffee pot on the side. Its sleek design allows for smaller storage space while providing 5 ways to brew. Brew up to 12 oz and provide 60 oz in the water tank. So if you’re a pod person or a ground coffee person, both of you can enjoy. It’s one of the best coffee makers and its design so I’m excited I got the upgraded version with the tank on the side. Also flexibility of using your own coffee grounds or purchased cups. The supplied brew basket for single serve is easy to use and clean, and is big enough for grounds for a larger size cup or travel mug. Single serve can be hot or cold. The bold setting option is also great for making a stronger single serving cup. The controls are easy to use. Cleans up easy. Also has option for the water container to be on the side or on the back to meet different space constraints. Overall it has worked very well to meet different coffee making needs.

I love that is has a space saving design and multiple brewing options all in one! It accommodates your own coffee, kcups and nespresso pods. It also has an iced coffee option. The only thing to be aware of is that the digital display only allows you to choose 2,4,6,8,10 or 12 cups when brewing a whole pot. There is no in-between.
