Beauty and purpose all in one!
Melitta hit the ball out of the park with this beautiful piece of art! Watching the bubbles go up the tube in the water reservoir with the red light under it is mesmerizing aseveryone states! A pot of coffee will brew so quickly that you will barely have time to get dressed! My other coffee pot was adding five minutes everyday to the cycle. I just don't know how to react having coffee finished in a very reasonable time! The craft is beautifully fashioned with glass handle as well. The lid to the carafe presses down and seals without having a foam lever. The rotating dashboard is nice and I've already reconfigured where my pot sits three times so the rotating option is a plus! It is also quiet. And I was able to set up the time and programmer without looking at the instructions and I'm in my 60s so that's a plus! I absolutely am in love with the aesthetic of this machine! Oh, the sliding lid on the water compartment comes off instead of being hinged and dripping water all over the place like other coffee pots, it is unique and glass!

Slight disappointment
I love the look of this coffee pot, purchased the white. My one big issue, is no matter how long after coffee has brewed, when pull out the carafe, it drips on the burner. Very frustrating as I wanted to love this so much, especially for the price.

Pretty Good, But...
Wanted a reputable coffee maker brand with a glass reservoir. Also wanted a stainless steel carafe BUT... no luck. Wanted to buy a replacement carafe also BUT... no luck. The hinged cover for the carafe side of the unit gets heavy condensation that drips down the exterior of maker when you open it to remove the used filter. Would like to keep this cover clean and "new looking" BUT, because of the construction of the lid, some of the condensation is impossible to dry. Wanted to keep water reservoir dry so I can keep it mold-free BUT it's completely enclosed. You can see the condensation on the glass but can't dry it out. The condensation is constantly there and constantly visible.
