Melitta Vision 12c Drip Coffeemaker with Revolving Dashboard

Looks good, works easily, and brews good tasting coffee.

Wanted a reputable coffee maker brand with a glass reservoir. Also wanted a stainless steel carafe BUT... no luck. Wanted to buy a replacement carafe also BUT... no luck. The hinged cover for the carafe side of the unit gets heavy condensation that drips down the exterior of maker when you open it to remove the used filter. Would like to keep this cover clean and "new looking" BUT, because of the construction of the lid, some of the condensation is impossible to dry. Wanted to keep water reservoir dry so I can keep it mold-free BUT it's completely enclosed. You can see the condensation on the glass but can't dry it out. The condensation is constantly there and constantly visible.

It makes great coffee and looks stylish doing it. The rotating control panel is genius.

Was intrigued by this coffee maker, so I purchased and have been impressed this far. It makes great tasting coffee and the "strong" feature works well if you like a robust cup of coffee. Highly recommend.

Stunning on the counter and delicious coffee - my wife had swindled me into a Keurig and I finally had to tell her we were switching back to drip. Did the research, landed on the Melitta Vision and we could not be happier!

I’m in love with this coffee machine, the details were not spared in the creation of this machine, it brews a great cup of coffee and conveniently takes up little space on counter and I love that it can be arranged in many ways to accommodate space. Although this isn’t mentioned in the description, I contacted a Melitta and the water tank is BPA free.

Great taste, simple and easy function, good looking. Its the best coffee machine I’ve used. The only thing I don’t love is that one of the top lids hinges and the other doesn’t. I’m just afraid I won’t be paying attention and break the lid that’s not connected. Other than that A+!

Since my 10 year old grinder built-in coffee maker with a stainless carafe finally broke, I was looking for the same style. However, I fell in love with Melitta Vision coffee maker so I gave it a try. Simple, Stylish, and Practical. I love my new coffee maker.

My review is based on my experience with this product and my opinion of the machine. The first thing I noticed about the Melitta coffee pot was how stunning it looked. I will be proud to showcase this coffee pot on my counter. The design is beautiful and the glass carafe is an extra level of sophistication. When the coffee is running, there is an orange light that glows inside. It’s a neat feature as well. I like that I have the ability to change the warm setting up to 120 minutes. This is nice for having guests over for coffee. The coffee tastes great too and pours really well. This machine was easy to clean and easy to use as well. All over I think this is a pretty good coffee machine, very simple functionality with a gorgeous look. In my opinion, this machine focuses mostly on aesthetic design. I thought this to be a simple yet beautiful machine.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I was first drawn to the look of this maker. Not traditional by any means. Thats what makes it so cool. Along with the sleek design comes the heating of the water. When the coffee is being brewed, you actually view the water going thru the heating elements before it travels thru the grinds into your coffee pot. I've read up a lot on coffee and it's taste has a lot to do with the temperature. It's probably safe to assume that the heating element is spot on as the taste was better than others. One disappointment was that I wish I was able to brew a bigger pot of coffee with this maker.

It looks right at home in my kitchen among my other black and stainless steel appliances. It was a flash of inspiration for the manufacturers to include a swivel dashboard, because it means I can position the coffee maker almost anywhere in the kitchen and have easy access to the controls. The controls for setting the time, the timer, whether to have bold or regular flavored coffee, and warm time, are very easy to understand. It took me a matter of minutes to break the coffee maker out of the box, clean the various components ready for use, and set up the controls. Four coffee filters are included to get you started. For me, a pause and serve system when brewing is imperative. I invariably want to pour myself a cup of coffee before the brewing cycle is completed. I also like the descaling indicator. I am not sure I have seen one of those before, but this is a good quality machine and so it is not therefore unexpected. I like the fact that two different heating systems are used to firstly brew the coffee, and the second one keeps it warm for whichever period of time you select up to a maximum of 120 minutes. I am most impressed with the versatility and elegance of this machine. Would highly recommend.

Coffee Maker is perfect and the coffee tastes great. Love that the grounds evenly soaked, and that you can select brew strength. The mid-century design, and swiveling controls are added benefits to great tasting coffee.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is a handsome coffeepot with all the bells and whistles too! The coffeepot is easy to use with easy to follow instructions. I like the (dashboard) clock feature, I can set the time to start my coffee and how long to keep the burner warming the coffee, up to two hours. It nice to wake up to. The dashboard also has a coffee strength options and swivels around for better placement. I love the has a glowing orange light while brewing the coffee, fun to watch!!! The carafe has a silicone gasket on the lid for a better seal. The pot uses cone #4 coffee filter and I had no problem finding them. The coffeemaker is easy to clean and take care of, I even brought it to the cabin. The coffee tastes as delicious as it smell too. I would absolutely recommend this coffeepot to anyone.

It has touch controls with a programable timer. It also has adjustable coffee levels for strong to mild taste. The pull out filer basket is easy to clean. The pause and serve makes it easy to have coffee while brewing. The adjustable warm time is from 30 to 120 minutes. This coffee maker makes the best tasting coffee out of all the others I have owned. Thsi is a real winner!

Extremely modern looking that fits in my kitchen decor just perfectly. It brews great coffee, tastes like you bought your cup of coffee at a coffee shop. You can set your brew time, as well as a warming time, for any time you want a cup. It has great features, is very simple to use and comes fully assembled. Wish it used regular shaped coffee filters tho instead of the more expensive triangular ones.

Sleek, and so modern looking to go with any decor. The coffee maker itself brews great coffee, with functions that I never knew I needed or wanted! It has functions for you to set when you would like your brew time, as well as a keep warm time, which is helpful since my family all wakes up at different times, and since the coffee maker holds more than one cup of coffee, the keep warm setting (up to 120 minutes) is very helpful. It has great features, but my favorite has to be that you can set the brew strength of your coffee! I honestly thought that this was going to be very difficult to figure out since it is such a sophisticated coffee maker, but it's actually pretty simple...even my husband was able to figure it out!
