A: Coffee is coffee and it isn't going to make any difference with your GERD whether you drink regular or decaf it's going to have the same affect on your gut. I suggest just lower the amount you drink.

A: Thanks for your question, Sharon. We use ethyl acetate direct process. In the ethyl acetate process, we begin by steaming the beans, which draws the caffeine to the surface; ethyl acetate is then added to the beans to extract the caffeine. After the caffeine is removed, we steam the beans again, and then we’re ready for roasting.

Weird taste
I have loved Blacksilk for years and something is wrong with the flavor. I see everyone is saying that they found it to be weak, so maybe they tried to fix it and just made it nasty. Then we bought the classic and that taste bad too. I’m very disappointed with what Folgers is doing.

I have used Folgers Columbian coffee for years. Suddenly I noticed a different taste and looked at the lable to check that it was made with aribica beans, Now it only say ingrediance: coffee- not what type. Have your switched to robusto beans and not let the consumer know?
