    Coffee is NOT piping hot.

    I was excited finding this deal from a well known coffee maker brand, Melita. So I expected a quality product. It arrived this morning and I was actually able to use it for my first morning cup! But, I was let down at my first sip. If brew temperature is important to you, as in, you care that the coffee is piping hot right after brewing, this isn't your coffee maker. Some people may be content with sort of hot, then go for it. But a thermal carafed pot must be made hot to retain it's heat. Not this one. Big no!
