A: There is a possibility that one of the wires (red or black wire) inside is disconnected. I don't own this coffee grinder, but I have a similar situation with a different coffee grinder. Open & fix it

Utterly non-fuctional
The lid is genuinely awful to try and align. It got stuck and would not slide over to the lock position. A safety feature makes it so it can’t be turned on if the lid is open, so the lid not fitting makes the entire thing useless.

Decent item if you get it on sale.
I’m a single serving French press coffee drinker. The cup size works for me. This is too small for a large pot of coffee. It’s perfectly fine on sale. I got it for $15, it’s worth $20 tops. Lots of complaints about getting the lid on. I struggled a bit until I realized there’s an arrow on the lid that shows exactly how to place it. Trying to get it on the wrong way will certainly crack the lid. If I get 2 years of use I’ll be happy with it.

This thing is genius. Finally someone made one of these grinders that's easy to wash. You simply unlock and remove the top with the blade and wash it. Unlocking and locking it back is fairly simple. Same with the top cap. The whole thing is just awesome. It works well for me, mostly grinding nuts and spices. Cord storage is another super nice touch. It doesn't get a lot of love in the reviews here but so far I couldn't be happier. I hope I don't eat my words. It's been about half a year.

Hard Not to Throw Across the Room
The performance of this grinder is mediocre at best, and the lid design makes it even worse. There are no clear markings to show how it should be positioned, so using it is unnecessarily frustrating. I bought it to grind spices, but it only did an average job. If I had kept the packaging, I would have returned it. I don’t recommend this product.

I purchased this two years ago. Love all things about this grinder. The pulse button for the motor is exceptional. The cord storage is perfect. The safety mechanism is spot on. I know some reviewers have complained that it will not work when in fact there may have been debris in the locking well. That is the area the clear top locks into. If there is debris there IT WILL NOT WORK! So, check/clean it before you waste money or time. I purchased it to ground ingredients for my small apothecary business and it has been a God send.

Doesn’t actually hold very meany beans. We have to grind 2 batches of beans for 1 standard pot of coffee. Not as loud as our old Mr. Coffee grinder. It would be fine if you only plan on making tiny pots of coffee.
