Stopped working within warranty period. They diagnosed the problem and want to send parts to hope to fix the issue. They require the consumer to pay for shipping of the parts! They want me to spend $4.99 for shipping and hope the part they send is the right part the first time. Will never buy another Hamilton Beaxh product.

Grinder is not working after only 4 months, its parts are loose.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Using fresh grounds always makes a more flavorful cup and I achieve it by using Hamilton Beach’s Custom Grind™ Coffee Grinder. It absolutely exceeded my expectations in both performance and ease of use. The grind consistency is excellent whether I’m making a fine espresso grind or a coarse French Press grind. The settings are easy to adjust, and I love the auto-stop feature which gives me a reliable grind size every time ensuring a perfect cup of coffee no matter how I brew it. The grinder is also fast, grinding through the beans quickly. The motor is quiet compared to other grinders I’ve used which is great for early mornings when I don’t want to wake everyone up. Clean up is incredibly easy thanks to the removable cup which removes with a simple twist. The compact design makes it easy to store with my coffee mugs or on my kitchen counter without taking up very much space. I highly recommend this coffee grinder to anyone looking to elevate their coffee-making experience. It’s quick and easy to use and delivers a consistent, quality grind.

You can choose between Coarse/Medium/Fine and anything in-between for your grind and set the number of cups. Then just press the start button and voila! - ground just the way you wanted. We love the removable grind cup with cup markings. Most grinders make you tip the whole appliance over to empty the ground coffee, but this one allows you to remove the grind cup to empty the ground coffee and clean the cup more easily. There is a small brush for the hard to reach spots that fits into its own slot above the cord. The base extends to wind the cord and hide it away. The grey/black/stainless fits in great with our other kitchen appliances. I don't miss the old grinder at all.

So far works well grinding coffee, not loud which is nice. Can’t wait to try grinding dried spices!!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The Hamilton Beach Coffee Grinder is sturdy and effectively grinds coffee beans. It is very easy to use and clean. Beans are ground quickly and to the correct grind. The cover and grinding chamber clearly mark the locked and unlocked positions. The instructions provide information indicating the following: the amount of coffee beans needed based on the number of cups of coffee you will be brewing and the grind (coarse, medium, and fine) based on the type of coffee maker you are using. As you can see from the attached photo, the metal grinding bowl clearly marks the cup selection amounts. The grounds pictured below are medium grind. After using, all coffee grounds can easily be removed using the brush that is neatly stored in the back of the grinder. The cord storage feature creates a smaller footprint when the grinder is not in use. Keep in mind that a cup is 8 ounces. Many coffee mugs are much larger than 8 ounces. Depending on how strong you like your coffee you might need to adjust the amount of beans that you use. You will notice from the metal bowl picture that it indicates Spice Max. It would appear that the grinder can be used for spices, however, the instructions do not include any information about grinding spices. I rated the grinder 4 stars because having a spice indicator and no instructions regarding spices is misleading.

While it has been great for coffee, I found an incredibly useful to use with different spices that need fine grinding as well. It's very easy to clean, and if that immediately I haven't experienced any heavy, lingering smells.

I especially like that it shuts itself off when the grinding is complete. It’s easy to clean because you can take it apart to wash it. It has multiple grind settings which is nice when you want to make different types of coffee. The cord storage is a plus. Very satisfied!

I used for not only coffee but also for grinding spice powder and the result was just amazing. It just takes few seconds to grind it. Also very easy to use, easy to clean and maintain as well. [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Used the new HB 80396RC coffee grinder within a few days of receiving it since a new batch of coffee beans was purchased for holiday entertaining. Selected two different grind settings to brew full 12-cup carafe and a single serving in K-Cup generic brewing cup. Removable grinding chamber and cup selector switch made this easy to accomplish. Removable cover and chamber make cleanup after use very easy as well. Self-storing power cord in the base facilitates pantry storage when not in use. Overall a very efficient and easy to use modern coffee grinder.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I'm just so happy I got this new Grinder, the features on this thing are just like the manufacture read my mind, I love the clean stainless steel look, the surprisingly very large capacity, and the automatic push button grinding not having to press down the grinding button all the time, the fineness size setting are great and my coffee just tastes so much better now being grinded to their perfect fineness.

This coffee grinder is easy to use, it works well, and it looks nice! This coffee grinder works great. You can choose the size of the grinds and the amount of cups right on the front of the machine. Once the cup is seated, you add the beans, and then twist the lid into place and then hit the button. The grinder grinds to your specifications and then shuts off. The stainless steel cup is fully removable, which is probably my favorite feature of this coffee grinder. It’s quick and powerful. I like that it has measurements on the inside of the cup as well. This coffee grinder also looks really nice, and it has built in cord storage right inside the bottom of the machine, which is super convenient too. All in all, this is a really nice coffee grinder. It’s very easy to use, the grind is customizable, it works great, and looks nice! I would absolutely recommend it!

The instructions were very easy to understand, and the machine was very easy to use. For coffee beans, I found the medium setting to be best after putting in the amount of beans needed for the number of cups to be made. The settings were easy to adjust. For the coffee beans, I pushed the on-off button, and the machine stopped by itself. I also used it for chopping pecans and used the coarse setting. I stopped the grinder after 3 seconds; that seemed to work for the nuts so they would come out in small pieces instead of a powder. I would recommend this grinder because it is easy to use.

I like this grinder because it is easy to use and easy to clean. The only noticeable issues that may be troublesome are that the color of this grinder and set markings color choice makes them difficult to easily read and the level of noise while grinding was a little unexpected.

Easy to clean. I enjoyed how the grounds can go in the lid or base. The only inside was figuring out how to pour it into the basket. Definitely recommend

It failed after a few months of occasional use. Not a good product

The grinder only gets one pulse once in a while when trying. I also have a model 80393, so I think how to deal with the safety switch activated by the lid.
