Perfect Burr Grinder for Occasional Grinds
Purchased this mid price grinder for occasional grinding of whole bean coffee. Easy to use with virtually no mess of grounds. Quickly and efficiently ground whole beans that had been gifted to us! And it was super easy to clean the canister and the grinder after use.

Doesn’t grind find enough for espresso
Got this grinder so I can make espresso at home. needed a burr grinder so thought this was gonna be perfect, but it does not grind fine enough for espresso. kind of disappointed because it advertises as espresso grinder, but doesn’t grind find enough.

We’re sorry to hear that the grinder did not meet your espresso expectations. For the best results, many customers find using the finest burr setting and grinding smaller amounts at a time helps achieve a finer consistency suitable for espresso. If you need additional guidance, our Consumer Assistance Center is available at 1-800-726-0190.

The answer to all your coffee needs.
Great burr grinder! The different grind settings always offer the perfect solution when I can't choose between French Press or drip coffee. Absolutely love this thing.

Exactly what I wanted from Santa!
I received this as a gift. I love it! You can adjust how fine or rough the grind is and how many cups you need. Easy to add beans, easy to operate, even has an adapter to affix your espresso grounds holder. I don't have an espresso machine but I need to get one so I can make use of that feature. 😉

Underwhelming
The grinding port tends to leak a noticeable amount of grounds onto the counter each time it’s used, and the interior chamber builds up residue quickly, causing frequent jams. Even after carefully cleaning it according to the instructions, the jamming persists and the grinder often stops working properly. I’ve only used it a few times so far, but these issues have made it frustrating to rely on. While I appreciate the thoughtful gift, this particular model hasn’t lived up to expectations for me in terms of reliability and mess-free operation.

Thank you for sharing your detailed feedback. We’re sorry to hear about the grounds spilling, residue buildup, and jamming issues—it’s understandable that these challenges have made using the grinder frustrating. To help prevent jams, please ensure the grinder is fully assembled, the grinding chamber is cleaned thoroughly after each use, and only the recommended amount of beans is used at a time. This product is backed by a limited warranty, and our Consumer Service team at 1-800-726-0190 is available to provide further guidance or assistance.

Dissatisfied
Grinds well. I haven't had any issues with clogging yet, but I haven't had it very long. I'm giving low score because of the attached rubber stopper closing piece that just HANGS off the lid. It's so ugly. It literally just hangs like an eyesore. It is only useful if you ground large amounts of coffee at a time, but even then, you would need to store the collection container elsewhere. The collection container doesn't fit well in its place with the stopper lid closed. So it just sits in my kitchen, looking like it's wagging a tail. I will probably just cut it off soon.

Thank you for taking the time to share your feedback. We’re glad to hear the grinder is performing well so far and that you haven’t experienced clogging. We’re sorry to learn that the attached rubber stopper design has been disappointing and feels inconvenient and unattractive in everyday use. Your comments about the collection container fit and overall design have been shared with our product team, as feedback like this is helpful when evaluating future updates.

Clogs easily - proper cleaning tools not included
The grinder works well, but if you use a bean that’s oily, or if you want a very fine grind, you will find that this grinder comes to a “grinding halt”. This occurs every time I use this grinder, and it requires me to clean the machine from the shoot where the ground coffee drops, up toward the grinding mechanism. So here’s how to do it - take something like a pick that comes with a nut cracker and work your way up the shoot to release the clogged grounds. Then you will need a 3/4 pipe brush to thoroughly clean the poorly designed shoot (coffee has to flow in a curve from the grinder to the shoot) until you can see the brush come through the permanent grinder (you need to take the grinder apart as you normally would for routine cleaning). The pipe brush is the only way I have found to get the grinder unclogged and back in use. The nut pick just clears a path for the brush to get into the shoot. Sadly, it takes more time to clean the machine than it does to grind the coffee I desire. Other than that, it’s great.

Overall a Good Grinder
I received this grinder a couple of weeks ago and, so far, it has done a good job of grinding me fresh coffee. After a few test batches, I was able to get the grind/volume dialed in and that has been great. It is also much quieter than I expected. Two areas of improvement are that the hopper is not very large. I can only fit about 1/2 Lb of beans in at a time. I have also noticed that the hopper can get clogged sometimes, so you have to keep an eye on it as it grinds.

Don't bother with this one. Feed issues and unusable cups selector.
Does not feed consistently. Requires that beans be shuffled to the front of the hopper and the unit shaken for each grind. Also, cup selection is not directly related to clicks of the wheel or the position of the number relative to the line. The change from one number of cups to the next occurs somewhere between clicks and past where the number lines up with the line. To use it, you would have to time each grind to figure out where it has actually landed.

Hubby Now Loves Being The Official Bean Grinder
My husband and I both love this coffee bean grinder. I finally had enough of the daily task of grinding small amounts of beans at a time. We go through a lot of coffee and it was frustrating to open my canister of ground coffee when I wanted to make a pot or set it up the night before to auto-brew in the morning, only to find it empty! This grinder is fast, efficient and I can grind larger quantities at a time. In fact, I rarely have to grind beans at all now because my husband treats it like a new toy and loves being the bean grinder, haha!

Great features
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Bought a month ago, works well. Quieter than expected. I like the separate grind size setting and number of cups setting. So far it actually is anti-statice.

Some very good features; some very annoying ones
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Pros: 1. It doesn't overheat and shut down, or need "rest periods." 2. It's fast. 3. It does a truly very good job of grinding beans to fine powder. 4. It's easy to clean. Cons: 1. You can't walk away from it for a minute, because every 15 seconds or so it just stops pulling beans into the grinding chamber. I stand at the unit and swirl the beans around nonstop to keep the unit functioning. Makes it mighty hard to get anything else done. 2. It's jet-engine loud, which is bad on its own but all the worse since you have to stand over the unit and continually feed beans into the grinding chamber. 3. While I don't know whether the number selection for grind size (coarse, fine, etc.) is beneficial or accurate, the selection for number of cups has no effect at all.

Grinder
Beans don’t flow into the grinder without encouragement, I.e., slap the side during grinding or you will wind up grinding air. Other than that it’s great.

35 grind settings
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I got the Cuisinart Espresso & Coffee Conical Burr Grinder because it has different grinding settings for various brewing methods. I have tried different grind sizes, from espresso to French press, which allows me to customize my coffee to my taste preference. I love the rich flavor and aroma of fresh ground whole beans and to know the only ingredient is the bean.
