Messy And Extremely Difficult To Clean. Had to Stop After Half The Hopper Grinded To Remove Clogged Coffee In Burr.

Grinder creates static electric, when removing the ground coffee. Consequently, grinds fly everywhere. Contacted the company and they gave me two possible solutions. Neither of them corrected the problem. They heard the same complaint from other customers.

I don’t know if mine is broken but the grinding is not quiet. It’s not louder than any other grinder I have had so I am keeping it. I gave it two stars cause there is nothing special about it for the price.

This machine is the best coffee grinder I've ever had! At first I thought the beans had immediately clogged up in the hopper because it was so quiet. After a round of good old fashioned swearing about how you can't buy quality things anymore I decided to figure out how/where the problem was. Upon not finding any problems I decided to try running it a bit more and sure enough it was grinding away. I can't say it purrs as quiet as a kitten but it is the quietest coffee grinder I have ever used! The grind consistancy is also more uniform than anything I've ever used and I should note I've used several burr grinders. I found that the finest setting was actually too fine for my espresso machine and would not allow for the life giving espresso, which I was in dire need of, to flow through the basket. My recommendation for espresso connoisseurs is to start with a grind setting that you'd swear is too coarse and then go finer as you see fit. After my round of swearing (see third sentence in the paragraph above) and analyzing the grinding mechanism I can attest to the quality of the machine. The grinding mechanism can be completely disassembled for easy cleaning. I foresee this being my new espresso brewing partner for many years to come.

It worked well for 1 1/2 years and then just quit. The motor spins, but it no longer grinds the coffee beans. I adjusted the coarseness settings from coarse to fine, but nothing changed. This unit is now trash.

It grinds the coffee uniformly and unlike the other brands that I tried, it is quiet. Very happy with it, worth the money.

Bought this for my daughter. I have one and I like it very much. Only thing, and maybe it’s me, but some grounds get outside of the cup. It does a good job and has different grind settings.

Works great and surprisingly quiet. Easy assembly and easy to clean. Very happy with it.

The initial grinder arrived with the plastic cone in the bean container broken which leads me to suspect it is not a robust design. The broken grinder was promptly replaced, and has been functioning quite well since. I have not really experimented with many different settings for grinding (coarse vs fine). Adjustment of the grind setting is easy. Cleaning is easily done. The aesthetic look is a plus.

This grinder does a great job. We had one years ago and decided to purchase another capresso because we liked the first one so much.

Doesn't quite get the coarse ground right. Not quite coarse enough.

We have one of these from a while ago and wanted to replace it due to wear, received our new one and noticed it had a plastic housing when our old one has a metal housing and heavier power cord.Not sure it will last as long.

I purchased the Capresso Conical Coffee grinder after reading online reviews. I was not disappointed. This machine is well-made, with sturdy parts and coffee receptacle. It is very quiet, particularly when compared to my previous flat-burr grinder which would wake up my wife if I used it too early. I believe it has improved the flavor of our coffee, both when percolated and used in an espresso machine. It disassembles easily for cleaning. I recommend it if you appreciate a good cup of coffee.
