Hamilton Beach The Scoop Single-Serve Coffee Maker BLK 47620: Single Cup, Ground & Capsule Compatible, 14 oz Capacity

I purchased this Sep 16, 2025 and now it's Nov 12, 2025. I've been having problems with it for about two weeks. It intermittently won't pump a full cup of coffee, but it turns off as though the cycle is complete. Later, I've come back to coffee all over my counter so I've had to leave a cup there to catch the coffee that should have come out. It's frustrating because you want a full cup without going through several baskets of grounds in the morning. It's also very messy. Sputters coffee all over the counter while brewing, so wiping the counter and cleaning the catch below often is very necessary. Seems to be a poor design.

This takes a very long time to brew. It will need to be returned. Timed 11 minutes

Love the coffee maker but I find it aggravating that there are NO REPLACEMENT PARTS for this model. Why do you not at least have replacement baskets if you're still selling it?

We chose for the climate friendly but everything has been a fail. The quality seems poor and brewing is a mess. Very disappointed

Works well so far. I have only used it a couple of times. It splashes a little like others have said, but the Keurig used to splash too. I am excited I don't have to use the pods anymore.

When I started using this product, I have to unplug it because it turns on by itself before I can get water and coffee in it. I can't figure out why it does this, so I unplug it and then plug it in when I'm ready for it to drew. As soon as it's plugged in it turns on without me pushing on button. VERY IRRATATING!

The filter is comes with spews grounds into the coffee. LOTS of grounds no matter how much or little coffee I use. Coffee doesn't taste right no matter how much or little I use. I guess if you're going to use expensive pods it will work but I did not buy it to use pods. Filter simply does not work. So sorry I bought this. What a RIP off!

Dislike small water reservoir , no options for cup size .

Works great. Anyone know if I can leave it plugged in? Probably yes, but with cheaper electronics I lack trust. ;)

Sturdy and sleek, doesn’t take up a lot of counter space. Perfect for my morning cup of coffee. Easy to clean!

We have to replace a Flex-brew that stopped working after 4 years (despite a 5-yr warranty). Too bad the brew switch cannot be used to stop brewing. We can't unplug the coffee maker because the plug is hidden beneath the countertop.

What a great little machine. I don't need 10 or 12 cups at a time. A single cup is perfect. Fresh every morning. No K cups to deal with. I like it !

Perfect coffee maker for one person, love that you don’t need K pods. Got rid of my kuerig for this. Absolutely love.

The instruction for usage is easy and can I use the coffee grounds for my garden. No usage of running out of filters because you don't use one. The coffee maker is easy to use on the kitchen counter doesn't use a lot of space.

Works well, coffee comes out hot. I think it’ll be helpful to have an extra scoop, but otherwise no complaints

At my office, they have a shared coffee pod maker in the break area, but I've always liked coffee made from fresh coffee grounds. I also like other hot beverages, like hot tea and hot chocolate. I wanted to try out my favorite decaffeinated coffee the first morning. I ran some water through as the instructions said to do for the first use. I then put more water into the reservoir, added a filter to the filter well, put the grounds in the top of the coffee maker and my favorite cup (already with my sweetener and creamer added) in the cup rest. The adjustable rest was nice, since I could fit my big cup in easily (see the attached picture), or switch over to a smaller cup if I don't want as much. I pushed the button to start brewing. After a few minutes, I had a perfect cup of coffee! The next day, I felt like a cup of hot tea. I rinsed out the filter well, added some water to the reservoir, then my cup for hot water. I pushed the button, got my hot water, and made my tea. It didn't heat the water as quickly as the hot water pot I have at home, but I can't fault this coffee maker for that, since hot water is just a side benefit!

Hamilton Beach The Scoop Single-Serve Coffee Maker comes with a permanent filter that doubles as a single scoop. It has a large brew button also. Just press and brew and that's it. It's that easy. It’s very easy to fill the water and the scoop for the coffee grounds. The start button is large so very easy to see. I couldn’t give it 5 stars because the cleanup of the scoop was a bit of a challenge.
