  • A: Great question! The two buttons match the two ways you can brew. The capsule button is for brewing with a coffee capsule you drop into the capsule holder. The grounds button is for brewing with your own loose coffee using the permanent filter. Each button runs its own brew program, so the timing can vary a little between the two, but the steps are the same either way: add your water, load your capsule or grounds, and press the matching button.   • A: Great question! The Single-Serve Coffee Maker comes with a removable cup platform that sits above the drip tray — that's the piece that handles shorter mugs. With it in place, a shorter cup is raised closer to the brew spout so your coffee doesn't splash; for a taller mug, you just lift the platform out to make more room. There's no assembly to it — it's removable, so you position it to match your cup. The manual also notes you can reposition the tray if a cup is especially short or tall.     A Disappointing Failure

    When I first purchased this machine, it worked fine, but after three months of normal use, the coffee became extremely weak. I descaled the machine and followed the recommended care instructions, but nothing improved. I contacted Willow about the problem, and they agreed to send me a replacement under warranty. However, they wanted me to pay nearly $20 for shipping the replacement. Considering I paid about $35 for the coffee maker at Target, I didn't feel that was a reasonable solution for a machine that had failed after only three months. I asked if they would cover the shipping, but they declined and said that the warranty does not cover shipping. Fortunately, Target was a different story. I learned that purchases made with a Target Circle Card are eligible for an additional 30 days beyond the normal return period. I was able to return the coffee maker to Target and receive a refund with no questions asked. I expect a coffee maker to last considerably longer than three months, and I expect a manufacturer to stand behind its product when it doesn't.

    Love everything about the single cup maker

    I never write reviews but had to on the single cup coffee maker. I love this machine! It's compact, the color is great and it produces a perfect cup of coffee with every use. I was spending too much $$ coffee with my French press because I don't tend to drink the entire pot (and could never get the proportions right for a single cup). The willow produces just what I need!

    Stopped Working In 6 Months

    Coffee tastes horrible

    I have very mixed feelings about this coffee maker. It looks very nice. The color and the design are beautiful. Unfortunately the coffee brewed with the basket for ground coffee has a horrible taste. I don’t know why but it tastes like I brewed it in the microwave. Also the basket for ground coffee always smells of chemicals after use. I don’t know what kind of plastic it is made of. The basket for the k-cups is made from a different type of plastic but it also smells of chemicals after use. The coffee tastes a little better when brewed from k-cups but still much worse compared to my old coffee maker from a different brand. I miss my old coffee maker but it has been out of stock for a while now so I am stuck with this one. I don’t recommend it.

    Wirst experience

    I’m so annoyed sent me a sang immersion blender instead! I’ve been drinking instant coffee because my machine broke. It was later than expected then sent wrong thing! This company is the worse is all I can assume. I had to order a new machine same day delivery keurig and pay a tip . That’s what I get for trying a different company. Lesson learned

    Great products!

    Bought one a few months ago. I was very impressed with the quality and performance. So much so, I bought a second one for my vacation home even tho my old coffee machine was just fine. Love the colors and styling. Looks so cute next to the matching kettle!

    My original purchase was months ago through the VA. When my product started to malfunction, I reached out and explained what happened. Shortly afterwards, I received a replacement coffee machine. Such a great product! And not the only appliance I from from Willow!!

    Great but need replacement parts

    Great and easy. I can use any coffee pod ir add coffee to the coffee basket. But the coffee pod does not close anymore and I cannot seem a link to replace it. Also, the round rubber part that goes above the coffee pod. I can’t seem to find a way to replace that either. Such a bummer.
