I've used 3 of the previous, taller model of this coffee maker for the past 10 year w/o problem. I bought this latest, smaller version delivered at the beginning of March and 2 1/2 months later it stopped working. Dead. The previous model worked well. This one, not so much! Can't recommend.

Does not puncture k-cups
i've tried many times over the years of using this to puncture k-cups. but really i got it purely to use as a ground coffee maker. I put my own grounds into the filter basket and brew just fine. 2 Stars though because the k-cups do not puncture.

Only Works with some k-cups and too small of cup
Works ok with grounds,have to brew a 2nd time to get aa decent size cup. K-cups are hit or miss as some brands the puncture does not go through to the coffee and you only get a cup of hot water.

Well i thought this was going to be easy to use. Nope The regular brew basket let's too much of the grounds in and so i decided to try k cups. Had to look up instructions because i threw them away! Keep your instructions and pay attention to how the buttons work and how the holder has to be or you will have water all over the place and wasted coffee.
