Q: Does this work in a moka pot?

A: Great question! In response to your inquiry, Medaglia D’Oro is a finely ground coffee and is best prepared in either moka pots or espresso machines. We hope this helps!

After having tasted this coffee, I am shocked by all the positive reviews. I typically buy coffee from Naples, Italy and was looking for a cheaper alternative. I made this coffee using my espresso machine and it was absolutely disgusting, I couldn’t even finish drinking it. Maybe I’m spoiled by the Italian stuff, but after trying this stuff, I’ve determined it’s definitely worth the money to keep buying the coffee from Naples. Thanks to Target for giving me a refund! Glad I didn’t have to pay for this sludge. It’s so difficult to find decent coffee in the US - it’s either too sour or just plain gross. Not smooth and balanced at all.

I've been drinking this coffee for over 40 years. It's the best espresso coffee you can get. I was thrilled when I discovered Target carried it. Just be aware this is an old photo...the cans now hold only 10.5 ounces.

Stronger and a tad bitter, this ground espresso makes a heartier brew than higher priced smoother brands and I like that for iced drinks but also use it for cappuccino.

Love this brand of espresso! Dont care for the South American, really prefer this Italian style. I use it in my Keurig refillable cups for a much stronger "coffee" than the pre-filled K-Cups! Not only is this brand hard to find at most groceries in SoCal, it's usually $6.99! Great deal, and use your Red Card for free shipping, I got it within two days of placing the order.
