Q: Is this for baking ?

A: It is perfect for baking, but I use it mostly for drinks. I like espresso or very strong coffee so I add this to the weak coffee at work or instead of spending $ at a coffee shop. Although it can't replace a fresh pulled espresso, I like it a lot. This is much stronger (& better tasting) than any regular instant coffee I've found. It also makes great tiramisu. My favorite use though is a coffee 'smoothie' - like a blended coffee but with a healthy twist. Dissolve it in a small amount of warm water (if you add the powder directly with cold ingredients it won't mix well), and blend with coconut milk (some already frozen into 'ice cubes'), protein or vitamin powder, agave....delicious! And without the million calories, sugar, and un-pronounceable ingredients in the coffee shop version.

Wow!! Grabbed this one on the clearance rack and now repurchased on regular basis. If you like espresso drinks but don’t have a espresso machine this is for you!! Super easy to make I boil it with quarter cup milk and than add a teaspoon and pour water as I’m mixing and it’s everything. So much better for you than regular coffee,tons of antioxidants.

If you enjoy a dark roast coffee and are looking for that taste here with this instant coffee please keep looking. You will be disappointed just how I was. Even after adding in about 1/5 of the bottle to make a 16oz coffee this was like drinking incredibly watered down drip.

This is the best instant coffee I’ve tasted, and I’ve tried a lot. It’s bold and smooth. Don’t let the price or small bottle fool you. It lasts a while and tastes more expensive than it’s price. I’ve been drinking it for probably a couple years now.

Do not buy. I wish I had believed the reviews that said it didn't have flavor because so many people wrote positive reviews. As a comparison, Delallo has a really good instant powder. This one is a waste of money.

I'm surprised I haven't turned in to a jar of this delicious Expresso. It's my every morning coffee drink for at least the last 5 years. The taste is smooth (not bitter), full of excellent flavor, aromatic, and tastes just like a fine brewed Italian Espresso. It is quick, just add water which means you can make it as strong or as light as you desire. In addition to a quick Espresso Shot, Americano, Caffé Latte, Ristretto, Cappuccino, Mocha, Flat white, Cortado and of course Macchiatos, you can make any of the Eye Drinks (Red, Black, Dripped and Lazy). Then there are the desserts drinks and desserts which can be made using this product like Black tie, Affogato, Galão, Tiramisu, and Espresso con panna. When I think about the endless uses of this wonderful Medaglia d'Oro Instant Espresso it's no wonder I have a subscription for a case to be delivered to my home very couple of months. Smucker's, thank you for continuing to make this product available, and easy and cost effective to order.

Health conditions have limited the amount of coffee we drink daily. It is not practical for us to brew a fresh pot of coffee. Medaglia d'Oro Instant Espresso allows us to have full flavor delicious cup. We originally found the bottle in our local supermarket, but they stopped handling it.
